E.T. games arrive in stores
Ubi Soft releases three new PC games based on Spielberg's sci-fi movie E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
Ubi Soft Entertainment has announced that it has released three new PC games based on Steven Spielberg's sci-fi movie E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The games--E.T. Away From Home, E.T. Phone Home Adventure, and E.T. Interplanetary Mission--are intended to coincide with the film's 20-year anniversary and its rerelease in theaters.
E.T. Away From Home is a board-game-style title that contains 13 different modes for one or two players. The game combines memory, dexterity, and logic elements. E.T. Phone Home Adventure is set in a 3D world and contains a number of scenes from the movie. Players assume the role of E.T. as he tries to return to his spaceship. E.T. Interplanetary Mission lets players explore the galaxy as they solve puzzles and discover new planets--including E.T.'s home planet. During the course of the game, players will learn to control E.T.'s four special powers--levitation, heart stun, telekinesis, and healing.
E.T. Away From Home and E.T. Phone Home Adventure are now available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.99, and E.T. Intergalactic Mission is now available in stores for approximately $29.99.
