playing music is alright and considered a real job. skill, hard work, creativity is done for entertainment. same wit Hollywood actors, athletic professional sports, and circus. these things are exactly the same concept of eSports. just because it's a game doesn't make a difference. you think they're having fun and enjoyment, practicing 12 hours a day, stressing, dealing with criticism, as well as getting extremely low income, and even to get that income you need to win a lot of tournaments. being a Pro gamer, especially in a brutally hard strategy game like sc2, with insane numbers of challenging competition, and some people don't call it a job. i think it is one of the hardest jobs you can get, and you need insane amount of skill, dedication, hard work, and love for the game to do it. most of these aspects don't apply to any other job. McDonalds, store retailer, or any other normal job doesn't require 10 percent of skills and hardships pro gamers face, this is why i respect them for choosing a much harder and riskier road.
