EA Sports Signs Electronica Artist Moby
The long-time techno producer will supply the tunes for EA's next FIFA release.
EA announced today that it has signed international techno DJ Moby to a deal that will bring an original remix of his popular track Bodyrock to FIFA 2001 Major League Soccer for the Sony PlayStation 2. The track will also appear on the PlayStation, PC, and Game Boy Color iterations of FIFA 2001.
"There is a great symmetry between the cutting-edge music Moby is creating and what we are doing with cutting-edge technology on the new PlayStation 2 system and PC," said Marc Aubanel, executive producer of the FIFA series. "We are thrilled to have Moby be a part of FIFA 2001 MLS."
FIFA 2001 MLS is scheduled for release in late November for the PlayStation 2 and late winter for the PlayStation, Game Boy Color, and PC.
