EA Sports Signs Ben Olsen for FIFA 2001 MLS
MLS star Ben Olsen will endorse EA's soccer game.
Joining EA Sports' pen of professional endorsers is Ben Olsen, three-time MLS All-Star, US National Team member, and starting midfielder for DC United. The star midfielder's image will be reproduced on all FIFA 2001 MLS packaging, as well as on any related merchandise distributed by EA Sports. Olsen will also provide the developer with professional insight into the sport of soccer, according to EA Sports.
"Being an integral part of such a fun and in-depth game like FIFA 2001 MLS is really exciting," said Olsen. "My teammates and I play EA Sports games all the time, so it will be an honor to work with them."
FIFA 2001 MLS will feature, in addition to the MLS license, more than 50 national teams and 17 different leagues, including the respondent players. The game is scheduled to ship this fall for the PlayStation 2, the PlayStation, the PC, and the Game Boy Color.
