EA Sports announces World Cup

EA will release a new FIFA game just in time for the World Cup. First screenshots inside.

EA Sports has announced that it's working on 2002 FIFA World Cup for the PlayStation, the PlayStation 2, the GameCube, and the Xbox. It's the only soccer game that will feature the official World Cup license, which includes the stadiums that will be used in the upcoming World Cup, as well as insignias, mascots, and banners. The game will also include all of the national teams and players scheduled to participate in the World Cup tournament.

2002 FIFA World Cup is scheduled for release in April on all platforms. The screenshots are from the PlayStation 2 version of the game.
