E3 2011: Nintendo details new Wii, DS Kirby, more

I would only buy 3ds because of the legend of zelda, super mario ,donkey kong, pokemon kirby and brain and sight games. All the other games don't feel as magical

Um, guys ... if you bothered to check out Nintendo's E3 site, you'd have seen that Fortune Street is being produced in conjunction with Square Enix. Kinda looks like fun, actually ... a merger of Monopoly and Mario Party, with Mario and Dragon Quest characters.

Am I the only Nintendo fan that just feels like saying, f**k the Wii, it's already dead, let it rest. Seriously, I have played like 65 games between renting borrowing, and I only enjoyed five enough to actually buy them, and even then, only because I didn't want to miss out on the must haves (Brawl, Metroid, Mario, Silent Hill... Okami, and... I can't even remember my sixth game... Muramasa I think). Seriously, as much as I love nintendo, I wish I'd just bought more DS games.. @mariokart64fan, They will. Devil Survivor 2 isn't coming out for a while too, and it's for the DS (though I think they're just being greedy since a remake of the first one is already coming out on 3DS, so they'll probably re-master it and re-release it again in another year). Pokemon is still going strong too, an with these new games. I think it's safe to say DS will still be worth owning for at least another year. Plus, with 3DS being backwards compatible they're not losing sales by releasing DS games.

they should continue to support ds until 3ds gets its steam , and if not keep it out

Pretty impressive news. They are certainly putting a lot of resources into new materials.

I... got really excited cuz I thought this was the announcement for the next Professor Layton release date. I never would have guessed it was gonna come to North America??

Mmmmm.... No information whatsoever about English versions of The Last Story, Xenoblade and Pandora's Tower? For real? I'm certainly glad I have hacked my wii, and am able to play those games. Too bad I won't be able to properly enjoy their stories, except for Xenoblade which will be released in Europe in several languages.

I'll wait till there's more info available.

I assume Kirby Mass Attack is the Kirby title that was announced for Japan involving an army of up to eight Kirbys that are controlled via the touch screen. With that and Professor Layton 4, all that's missing of major Japan DS releases I've heard of to make it into NA is Fire Emblem DS 2.
