E3 2011: New Super Smash Bros. game in development

Seriously for this they could add a few characters, a few levels, and new trophies and sounds and masterpieces and use the same graphics engine from brawl or even melee and i'd be happy. Interesting idea is putting all the info on the bottom screen like health and stock or time and that'd clear up the screen a lot

Sorry, but Kid Icarus Uprising multiplayer is so awesome, that this game won't be able to replace the awesomeness. Trust me, Kid Icarus Uprising is the BEST FIGHTING GAME OF ALL TIME ON ANY DS SYSTEM...

my top 5 characters bowser junior, lanky/chunky kong (most likely wont happen), megaman, ryu, charmander top 5 unique aspects i want more hadcore styled fighting with epic combos, evolving pokemon, MUCH improved level custimization, story mode with less repetetive enemys, more UNIQUE characters, for example ice climbers, pok.trainer, olimar PLEASE SEND THIS TO NINTENDO

Cmon, why would they worry about Kid Icarus over SSB? I bet the majority of gamers would choose Super Smash over Kid Icarus any day.

hopin for like 50 characters in the new roster i would love to have a wide selection. giv us some amazing surprises too. please fix wifi to be competiive and not lagy every game

Far as characters go, they really need to have somebody like Geno or Mallow. If they might again have non-Nintendo characters like they did in Brawl, then those two would fit perfectly because they aren't owned by Nintendo (ending credits in Mario & Luigi references this toward Geno), but they starred in a Mario game.

if it takes them a while to make the game it wont be that bad if its something good we are waiting to play

fox should have a new move where he says "do a barrel roll" and a bunch of cruisers come on the field and start doing barrel rolls, that could even be a final smash if there are any. or if they want they can make it better by adding peppy and giving him that move

Super Smash Bros. is the most fun fighting game EVER. I need it once it comes out (soon I hope).

@Birkin I see your point, and for one I adored the Rocket Knight series. Unfortunately Konami has discontinued the series for such a long time, so I don't know the likely-hood of that happening. But who knows? Heck, Nintendo put Pit in Brawl, and until recently we only knew one other game with his name in it, and that was in the 8-bit era. I'm not sure if they would put both Sparkster AND Axel Rod, but I would like to have one put in. Megaman, on the other hand, is an easy add to the SSB series in my mind. Either him or X, they're pretty similar.

I honestly would be happy if ichigo kurosaki and renji were in the game. the bleach games were on wii and ds. and the games were published by SEGA lately nintendo and sega have been working together so it seems fair.

@LMW-STU i can honestly say that the game would probably suck if they were to take out sonic and snake, add no more non-nintendo characters, and add useless nintendo characters since nintendo knows damn well that the best nintendo characters were in brawl.BUT im not saying that all nintendo characters that werentin brawl are useless. just most of them. i mean cmon TOAD? TOADSWORTH? SHADOW MARIO? DAISY? TINGLE? you people are either stupid or insane. at least in my list of non-nintendo charcters, almost all of them were actually on a nintendo console.

Damn I really hope konami adds sparkster and possibly axel gear to this one, not putting sparkster in brawl was criminal, just looking at mugen and their fighting mixup vids both of these guys can put up a good fight and could easily be more than a match for everyone, unfortunately knowing konami we'll probably only get snake on his own and possibly raiden :( or the belmonts, wish konami would get off the mgs koolaid and put sparkster in this, he badly needs the attention and this could be the right boost he needs to get it, and megaman also needs to be in this, samus vs megaman would be interesting.

Not really suprising news, seeing how successful SSBB was. And people, stop saying who should be in it! Especially non-Nintendo characters. Sonic and Snake were one-offs.

@megakick, where have you been. The Wii is all but dead. Also, I know I've posted it before, but I want tot see Knuckles, a better Sonic (he sucked in Brawl), I want Jigglypuff to be killed in the opening scene, never to return again. And I want some variance with all the existing characters. We don't need two links who control the exact same way, we don't need both Ness and Lucas, and We don't need mario and luigi to be so similar (IT would be awesome if they gave mario a down B move like pokemon trainer, where he changed costumes... Tanuki suit anyone). As for other characters. Still waiting on Mega Man, but since that's not happening, would settle for a Custom Robo character. could always use a few more pokemon, but nothing crazy, maybe two new ones. Replace a Link with Skull Kid. And lastly, throw us a crazy curve ball. A character we never would have imagined. Like a Persona character or something crazy like that, something so out there that it'll be like "really? that's just weird, but awesome."

What happened to the WII? NINTENDO is dropping WII support?

I bet the'll add tag team to this one mayb Mew should be a playable character instead of an item and they should make a bunch of pokemon trainers eachn with three different pokemons and switch pokemon faster so the combos will be much awsomer
