E3 2011: Forza 4 zipping out October 11
Turn 10 announces fall release date for upcoming racing simulator; Kinect support and head tracking promised.
LOS ANGELES--In addition to announcing a release date for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary at its E3 2011 media briefing this morning, Microsoft nailed down a debut date for another one of its exclusives: Turn 10's Forza 4.
The Kinect-enabled racing simulator will zoom exclusively to the Xbox 360 on October 11. Previously, the game was scheduled to debut in the vague "fall 2011" window.
During the media briefing, a Turn 10 representative promised that Forza 4 would offer racing fans an "all-new racing experience." Speaking to that point, the studio rep showing the game announced that the game will support Kinect voice commands, head tracking, more than 80 manufacturers for cars, and 16-player support.
