E3 2001: SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge

THQ announces SpongeBob for the Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color.

SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge is based on the hit Nickelodeon cartoon chronicling the life of a young sponge living beneath the sea, earning his keep flipping burgers in the colorful land of Bikini Bottom. The SpongeBob cartoon is known for its off-kilter humor and unique style, which THQ promises to capture in these Game Boy translations. This latest adventure finds SpongeBob searching for the perfect birthday present for his friend Patrick Star: the autographs of their favorite superheroes, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. We'll be taking a look at SpongeBob during this year's E3, and we'll report our impressions direct from the show floor.
