E3 06: Castlevania returns to DS

YES!!! I'm hooked on the Castlevania Fever right now. I haven't played (been addicted to) a game like this in years!!! Yeah, Metroid should get back to side scrolling!!!!! PETITION!!!!

Yes it is nice to see another Castlevania title however I think Konami needs to focus on a PSP title something like symphony of the night. I think Konami needs to challenge themselves to make a game like that. The problem is that people keep buying the product that Konami puts out like with these castlevanias. There is nothing wrong with that if you like the games but Konami has no reason to try to produce something more technically advanced because it's current games are selling well. I'm not sure but Konami may have a deal with Nintendo to make Castlevania for the DS only. Would be nice to see a Castlevania for the PSP though.

I can't wait for this game to come out. Dawn of Sorrow was def. one of my favorites and Im sure they'll make this one even better.

Morris, any relation to the guy from Castlevania Bloodlines? I miss SOma already, but not as badly as I miss Alucard, but that's okay. I'm just greatful for a new Castlevania DS, the last one was simply amazing!

Yeah while the art for the game does really really suck, I'm sure the game will be one of the best Castlevania's yet. I read that the reason they changed the art in DoS(and presumably this new one) was to attract more fans. But if anything this new crappy art would lose fans. But to me, no matter how crappy the characters look on the box, or when they show their pictures in the game when the characters are talking, as long as the gameplay is solid and the actual graphics look just as good or even better than the previuos games, then I will ALWAYS be a hardcore Castlvania fan. And even though that pretty much every single Castlevania game has an identical plot, it's still great fun after all these years.

Supercrap Dawn of Sorrow is still being sold at retail brand new. You should really shop online. Trama Center isn't out of print either. Bestbuy.com still has it. You can also still get the gba double pack of Castelvania Harmony of Dissoance and Aria of Sorrow.

Yes , Yes.... the sweet joy of playing another 2D Castlevania game. I can't wait. I'm just glad the 2D castlevania is still going strong. I was happy with DOS so I'll look forward to this one too. I which the artwork and portraits are changed back to the artworks of SOTN, HOD, and, AOS again. Oh well can't compalin though. Cheers to another fab Castlevania coming soon...
