Droopy's Tennis Open announced
LSP is developing a tennis game featuring the well-known cartoon dog.
LSP has announced that it's currently working on Droopy's Tennis Open for the Game Boy Advance. Droopy's Tennis Open is an arcade-style tennis game that features a total of six characters, each of whom has a unique set of characteristics and attributes. Players can select from four game types. The quick game mode lets players jump right into a match with a random opponent and court. In the arcade mode, players will have to play through three games of variable length. Lastly, the tournament mode puts players through five training sessions and either five singles or five doubles matches. Droopy's Open Tennis will also have a multiplayer component that supports up to four players.
There are several different court types in the game, ranging from traditional grass and clay surfaces to more absurd surfaces like ice. Each court will also have a specific theme, so the matches will be played in a number of unique locales, such as just outside of an Old West saloon or at the North Pole.
Droopy's Tennis Open is scheduled for release this summer.
