Doodle Jump hitting XBLA this summer
Kinect-required arcade game launching later this summer two years after game was originally announced.
Two years after it was originally announced, mobile hit Doodle Jump will launch this summer on Xbox Live for $5, Lima Sky announced today. It requires the Kinect to play.
Doodle Jump for XBLA adapts the vertical platforming gameplay of the original mobile game for play with the Kinect. Players will move their bodies left and right to control the Doodler, while firing nose balls with arm gestures and flying by flapping their arms.
"We've brought the Doodler onto new platforms before, but never like this," Lima Sky co-founder Igor Pusenjak said in a statement.
Doodle Jump for XBLA includes exclusive content like three all-new worlds, new bosses, achievements, and power-ups. The $1 mobile game is the third most popular paid app overall for iOS devices.
