It's awesome that Donkey Kong is being made for the 3ds! I do wish that the original SNES version could be made for it as well, but either way, it's such a fun game and I'm excited to take it places!! =D
Donkey Kong Country Returns coming to 3DS
New version of 2010 Wii platformer arriving for portable this summer in North America and Europe.
Donkey Kong Country Returns is making a comeback. Today during a Nintendo Direct video presentation, Nintendo announced Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D for a launch on the 3DS this summer in North America and Europe.
A 3D video of Donkey Kong Country Returns is available to download now in the 3DS eShop.
The game originally launched for the Wii in November 2010 behind a positive critical reception. It was developed by Retro Studios and sold nearly 5 million units as of April 2011.
Other highlights of Nintendo's presentation today included the 3DS game Animal Crossing: New Leaf receiving a June release date and the announcement of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Check back later for more news and announcements from Nintendo Direct.
