Disgea is going to be pretty cool it reminds me of Final Fantasy Tatics alot which is probably one of my favorite games of all time! I pretty much enjoy any turn based strategy RPG so this is a must buy for me. I love how Ichigo's dad from Bleach is the voice over for the commercial lol!
Demonic strategy RPG dated; Nippon Ichi also shipping Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland for PS3 on September 27; Cladun x2 set for PSP debut by August's end.
A return to the Netherworld is nigh for many a strategy role-playing game fan, as Nippon Ichi Software America today updated release info for a number of its upcoming titles, including giving its PlayStation 3-exclusive Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten a September 6 launch date.
Disgaea 4 will incorporate a graphical overhaul over the previous flagship installment in NIS's quirky turn-based tactics role-playing series. And while the studio has also revamped the battle systems, it will retain many of the series' most familiar aspects. Characters like "Dark Hero" Axel and the penguin-like servants Prinnies will be returning, as will many familiar character and enemy types, all rerendered to take advantage of the new engine.
Later in the month, NIS America will launch another PS3 effort, the alchemy-focused RPG Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland. Developed by Gust and set for a September 27 release, Atelier Totori is the sequel to last year's Atelier Rorona and focuses on the pupil of that game's protagonist.
Finally, NIS America confirmed that its downloadable PSP sequel Cladun x2 is set for North American release by the end of August. A follow-up to last year's retro-styled dungeon-crawling adventure, Cladun x2 puts more of a focus on customization, with players able to incorporate new classes into their parties and customize weapons, armor, background music, and even characters' facial expressions.

dood, this looks like it'll be an awesome game in the series. I loved the other Disgaea games, but not those little spin-offs, like the ones that are Prinny-based.
Disgaea 4 Premium Figure Set, Pre-ordered!! The graphics are great this is the PS3 Disgaea game I dreamed of.
NIS could give a better graphical overhaul to Disgaea 4, doesn't need to be something spetacular but it could be like the ones seem in Catherine, it allow fluid animations without losing the anime feel.
@foxfacer2d2, Yes, for North America. It has actually been available for preorder for several months now. I'm so looking forward to this. wish i had vacation days left for the year...
@Cartr1dgeBased lol agreed i got mad that they made the second one for psp then i realized it was the best game i ever had on psp and finally made me glad i bought one(besides playing old ps1 games on a hand held and such)
surprised its on console. a nice surprise though. glad they didnt take the valkyria route. (even if valkyria chronicles 2 was a great addition to my psp collection)
Last Disgea game i played was Hour of darkness. Couldn't get into the other ones, but this with the added network features especially the map creation looks like i could play this for a long time! Demon Souls you have finally been replaced.
Holy crap I just watched the trailer and I am so excited for this game! I love the Disgaea series, and all the network-enabled additions like creating maps, etc. is awesome! Can't wait!
Second best trailer ever after the DC Universe 1st trailer. I've already got my super special deluxe edition pre-ordered....DUDE!!!
Already got my preorder down, although as much as I love Disgaea, I refused to 'upgrade' to the $60 edition with the artbook and doll thingie. Still, can't wait.
This is one of the most awesome commercials I've ever seen. I'm hyped to get this. Disgaea 3 was complex, but when I have time, I'll also sink myself into that world to get ready for this.
