DICE teases 'surprises' for E3

Battlefield developer says in addition to Battlefield 4, studio has a "couple of surprises" to show next week in Los Angeles.
Battlefield 4 will not be the only DICE game on display next week at the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo, the developer has suggested.
In a new video, DICE general manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson said gamers should expect something different from the studio to be revealed at the trade show.
"E3 is less than a week away and we're hard at work with all the awesome games that we have to show you. Our excellent dev team is hard at work with Battlefield 4, of course, but we also have a couple of surprises up our sleeve," he said.
In addition to Battlefield 4, DICE is working on an all-new Star Wars game, which publisher Electronic Arts has teased could be a Battlefront title.
The studio is also rumored to be at work on Mirror's Edge 2, believed to be an Xbox exclusive.
Gamers hoping for Battlefield: Bad Company 3 are out of luck, as DICE recently confirmed that the game is not in active development.
EA's E3 2013 briefing takes place Monday, June 10, at 1 p.m. PDT. GameSpot will have full coverage of the event.

EA wouldn't make an exclusive, they're too money focused..
My guess is just timed exclusives again. Although if things don't pick up with the general consensus of the XboxOne I can see EA regretting this little 'deal' of theirs!
Hopefully DICE will have a teaser for Battlefront :)
just dont make Mirrors Edge a exclusive, thats all I ask for.

Mirror's Edge 2 has been listed on some retail sites so that's a given no surprises then unless they unveil another title?
Why the xbox exclusive for mirror's edge 2? Sooner or later they will release it on the pc also...like all the games. Like dark souls or mortal kombat 9. And pt gamers can wait...and they never forget.
Damn. I was hoping against hope that the new SW game EA was working on was KOTOR 3.

Don't bother watching the video its just some random dude talking about possibilities no actual teaser footage.
Obviously BF4 is going to be present, but if they're talking a couple surprises beyond that, than I'm going to say Battlefront 3 since they've already said they're going to discuss their Star Wars projects and BF3 has been hinted at by EA already (Ironic that Battlefield and Battlefront share the same Acronym and now potentially the same developer as well.)
The other game I have to hope for is Mirror's Edge 2. Our chances are small because of the dismal performance of the first one, but they've stated that ME2 is still very much alive and they're taking their time in its development, so hopefully all of the listings that keep popping up have some truth to them.
I would, however, also like to actually see some original IPs come out of EA. Dead Space is the only original IP EA put out in the 7th gen (except maybe Dragon Age, but I think that was in development before Bioware was bought out.)
Mirror's Edge 2 is a definite must, but Battlefront 3 I can personally go with or without. The Star Wars game I REALLY want to see make a come-back is Knights of the Old Republic. I want Bioware to update the original 2 (Maybe do it up Anniversary-style like Halo and Fable since it was an Xbox Exclusive, but I doubt they will since it's EA. Quick Cash-in's are more their style.) Than I want to see a KOTOR 3 with the Unreal 4 engine and the Mass Effect Dialog/Interaction system while maintaining a combat system similar to the original games.
Us waiting for Battlefront III is the equivalent of the citizens of Skyrim waiting for the emergence of the Dragonborn after all these years.

Mirror's Edge 2 or don't bother showing up. It'll be battlefield 4, it's obvious since that's already been announced
Star wars battlefront would look nice as a dlc just like FC3 Blood Dragon. But we need a full fledged Mirror's Edge 2.
No Battlefront III. Lucas Arts discontinued and nobody picked the project up, so it was scrapped.
@Schuyler France Disney owns the rights to any star wars game now, EA made a deal with them to have exclusive rights to develop, EA can have any of it's companies make any star wars game. Dice can totally make a Battlefront 3
its either gonna be battlefront 3 or the battlefield 4 star wars dlc. Disney gave ea the right to make star wars games. and just when we thought disney couldnt get any better ='D
