New Square Enix domain names spark speculation about Human Revolution follow-up.
Square Enix has registered new domain names for Deus Ex The Fall.
As spotted by Superannuation, the publisher yesterday registered www.deusexthefall.com, as well as ".net" and ".co.uk" variations, suggesting this could be the name of a follow-up to 2011's Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
A Square Enix representative was not immediately available for comment.
Square Enix recently filed a trademark application for Deus Ex: Human Defiance; this was later linked to the Deus Ex movie from CBS Films and director Scott Derrickson.
CBS Films is a division of CBS Corporation, which is GameSpot's parent company.
Deus Ex is great game I mean it the first and the rest, but I also can't wait for Thief, just don't release it at same time. Both almost had similarity and its not good vibe for selling and my purse.
I would love to see another game for the series. First and foremost, though, I want to see a remake of the original. Don't change a damn thing, just overhaul the graphics (Hell, use one of the Graphic mods already released for it.) I know graphics don't make the game, but in some cases like this they definitely help. My computer has never agreed with the mod and I would love to be able to play the game again with tolerable graphics since this has not aged well at all. Hell, any remake should follow in the footsteps of Halo Anniversary. THAT is how you remake a game.
Oh, and a HD remake of Invisible war wouldn't be such a bad idea either. The Xbox version had some nasty framerate issues (and I kind of hope they change the universal ammo concept if they do. It was the one really damning feature of that game.)
Awesome! A game like DX is a huge undertaking. There were places where they stumbled, but they managed to put together a fantastic game. With all the past mistakes ironed out this should be phenomenal.
OOOOh nice.... better boss battles and an engine that lives up to the phenomenal design this time please :)
@gMcR I did :)
why do people have to hunt this shit down? why cant you wait till there is actual info to tell us instead of wasting time writing speculation crap?
No more alternative endings, we already know what happens in the future.
Oh and for the Love of God, NO MULITIPLAYER, IT WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL!
ive just played DE HR
so idk what happens in the future :/
can you tell me what ending was the one that is the actual one, i chose to side with Sariffs, cuz i believe in that choice, but idk which one actually happens
It's strange Hugoboss0889, I guess you have seen what happens after the credits show after the game ends? Scene with Bob Page and Reed?
Well based on that it appears the Hyron Project is destroyed at Panchaea and with it Adam Jensen.
I read somewhere, although I think its bull, that they manage to get Adam Jensen back to life, in other words he never died and turn him into what becomes Walton Simons.
Yeah talk about stretching it!
@JJMikhail shame on you kid
This news is great. Any news regarding either new expansion or sequel or whatever it may be with Deus Ex in it got me very interested and I will be keeping my eye on this.
I personally hope for a sequel rather than a small dlc.
@WCK619 It's probably related to the global economic and social collapse that precedes the original Deus Ex.
@ixmardukxi I was about to say the only good game of 2011 and then I remembered that Witcher 2, LA Noire, Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim, Saints Row: The Third, Minecraft and Catherine all came out that year.
2011 kicked 2012's ass!
@ixmardukxi Actually was my game of 2011.
there sooo many of us waiting this game. so FYI, just for u know square and edios :)) most exicting news that i heard this year
I am was so disappointed when I found out that the 'Human Defiance' trademark was for the movie. This has restored my belief that there will definitely be a follow up to the AMAZING Deus Ex Human Revolution
Another Deus Ex is going to happen and should be a no-brainer. HR is one of a handful of games I want to play again but unfortunately there are many other games getting in the way. A gem that gets overlooked.
Best news I have heard in a while Human Revolution is one of the best games I have played in a long time. I beat it 3 times, and that is not normal for me. It was just so much fun to play through and I loved everything about the aesthetic and soundtrack.
@emgesp And please for the love of god allowing modding. It was a crying shame HR didn't allow them. So much potential for absolutely awesome mods. I know they don't want to destroy the DLC sales by having mods that end up being better then the DLC but just wait until a few months after all the DLC then release the tools.
It's a good time to buy Human Revolution if you haven't. I just did. The price will probably bump up.
