Deep Silver seeking Saints Row IV feedback for collector's edition

I wish they would take the feedback on their own forums more seriously.

  I really find this truly baffling, if some company release a sandbox game, it immediately gets compared to GTA? Some people claim they are trying to compete with Rockstar and some claim, it is just a complete rip off of the GTA franchise?

It is neither true, nor is it even slightly relevant!

There are too few good sandbox games in the market as it is, then as soon as some publisher announce/release a new title, out come all the GTA comparisons? 

While there is no doubt, Saints Row was/is influenced by GTA, it is a game in it's own right... and should be judged as such, not compared with just because it is a sandbox title? I love this genre and wish for more releases but as I already said, there is far too few available to buy! 

In the FPS genre, no one slams or critiques other FPS games for being like CoD? Then claiming they will not play it, simply because it is a poor man's version of the other? 

At the very, very least...

Please give SAINTS ROW IV a chance before condemning them?

its still weird seeing deep silver before the saint's row product name. i forget sometimes that thq isnt around anymore and that many of their properties were auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Well, that's probably better then having another fiasco like the Riptide thing.

#1 thing you should include in your collector's edition is the Season Pass for the game which we all know is coming. Halo 4 Limited Edition included their Season Pass. I say this game should too.

I want a real adult tiger that can ride shotgun with me in my Buick Century and somehow boost my self-esteem by swatting at my head every time I hit a pothole.

So many cynics in the comments. I'm the type of person who never sees the point in collectors editions because the knicknacks you get usually just end up collecting dust in a closet or a box somewhere in your attic, so I appreciate the effort to personalize it a bit more. I still wouldn't get the CE, but this is a classy move by Deep Silver I think.

How bout go back to SR3 and scrap it out and make a good sequel for SR2? i think that works! 

How about... nothing? Or perhaps the word 'premium' on the title screen and that's it. 

Maybe then people will stop wasting money on Premium editions...

I have an Idea for the collector's edition bundle for this game. since this games are so violent, how about we get a REAL gun we can use to kill people like they do in saints row for after all game violence makes people kill other.

What would I like to see in the Premium bundle? The whole game would be good, instead of having to buy DLC and micro transactions later on. Oh, but now I'm just being silly :P

The best thing they could possibly put in that collector's edition is a sequel to Saints Row 2.

I'm not a smoker, but a Cigar box sounds pretty cool for a conversation piece. I want itttttttt, better be classy though...as in redwood or something.

Statues and figurines are the only reason I buy collectors editions. That other stuff is just... 'meh'.

They should include skins from Dead Island (zombies and protagonists) and Cursed Mountain.

Don't think I'd be interested. But if they're gonna do one it better be dumb. All these random items "from the world" and standard promotional items is pffft.

If I have it my way the CE will include:
Voice augmentation device / auto-tune device
Dubstep Doomsday Button
Ridiculously amazing glass display case with lights?

Just package it with a 40 that I can pour on someone to get them up.

For the collector's edition I'd like to see an actual game worthy of the number 4... I know this isn't deep silver's fault. THQ was rushing this out to try and stay afloat. Either way I've no intentions of buying this. I'll wait for the real sequel in Saint's 5 on a next gen console.

Is it just me, or did this really come out of no where?  I mean, last I heard the new President of  THQ wanted to make SR4 more serious. Then THQ got F'd in the A and then boom, here is a new Saints Row!  Don't get me wrong, I am excited.  I just hope this game wasn't too rushed.

Just simply make the collectors edition worth getting at what ever price you are asking for it  like don't charge around $100 bucks for a collectors edition and everything in it is worthless or nothing but DLC crap that is also worth less.

Please no special digital weapons, cars, maps and all that crap. They don't count as special editions, special stuff. 

So yea, my first choice would be the cop and second the pink guerrilla.

It is Saints Row it has to be wicked.

I know people hate having mulitplayer in a game like this but I loved playing co-op with my friends on SR3 it was just funny as hell experiencing each and every single WTF moments with someone and frankly I would love it if they added 4 player co-op. The trailer btw was awesome can't wait for SR4.

Don't care really. I want to see more Saints Row on the next consoles with the same wild gameplay, much improved graphics and A NEW LOCATION. Keep it gangster  and have the same great single player too.

I wonder how many people will actually answer that survey seriously.

So am I to believe that among all these extra items they came up with, the idea of more in-game  content didn't once come up? All I care about is whats in the game, not t-shirts and dubstep buttons. What a farce!
