Dead Space 2: Severed DLC drops March 1

bought this and beat it in 45 minutes. kind of a let down, but still very fun. I think they rushed to get it out so it wasn't as good as it could be

i am so tired of hearing the PC elitism that i get happy when they get less and less game content.

It is strange that the PC version is not receiving the DLC treatment, even though it is the superior version. As a special treat for the PC version, EA should release a special DLC pack that will include both Severed and Ignition. It would be nice to have Extraction as well...but that might be pushing it!

only focusing on the 360 and ps3.. it's not like they do more than port the thing to PC anyway. I'll be waiting to see if this is released, it would have been a must have within release then I heard about this DLC not yet available..I'll be waiting for that otherwise I'll wait till I do (if I do )ONE day buy one of the consoles to pick up one of these games. I just don't get why you'd release it for PC and not give us the option to whole section of the game, it's not just some suits and goodies, it's a whole campaign. I sorta have some hope they will though (I'll be buying as soon as they do, I want to continue the story so badly, staying away from playthrough videos to avoid spoilers)

A twitcher is like a regular necromorph except it twitches around and runs lightning fast.

Predictably enough PC gamers once again get the short end of the stick.

I hope we get the new stuff from the DLC in the main game with Isaac as well so we can get more use out of it than just the two chapters with Gabe.

I don't know why everyone's b****ing about it not being there on release. It's not part of the main storyline. It's not about Issac. They're making more content for us to enjoy it longer. Why b**** about it?

I like the term "severed DLC". Maybe we could use it to describe stuff that could've been on the disc but which they decide to sell separately.

Even though most people bag on the multiplayer, I love it. Would love to see a big map pack or new modes. This dlc looks great too :)

@endersgone why can't you unlock the elite suits?

I was a tiny bit pissed when I couldn't unlock the elite suits, now it seems we won't even be getting any dlc. Thanks for supporting your pc fans...

and... I can not WAIT to get this. I am half way done with hardcore mode. aka almost at 100%.

it is SOOO much harder to make a game for a PC than a console. that is why many compaines are turning their back or giving the middle finger to PC gaming. the ps3 and 360 has ONE system configuration. you know what you are working with. The pc has an INFITE number of configuration. you have to make your game work for all sorts of CPUs, amount of ram, types of graphics cards. dont be so surprised PC gaming is not getting the same attention. EA makes WAY more money with consoles. For example just look at all the sports titles they make. thats probably half their profit. and dont thumbs down me just cause you are a pc gaming fan boy. I am not saying PC games suck. I am simply saying why I think companies like EA dont show the same attention to PC gaming.

I'm getting extremely tired of PC getting the middle finger from EA. I payed console prices for the game and now no episodic DLC. They p*** and moan about piracy then deliberately make the PC version inferior to the consoles. How's that logic work? As much as I love the Dead Space series, unless they change their tune on the episodic DLC I'm renting the next one and I'll hold onto the extra $55 and give it to a company that cares about the PC. Just when I thought EA was making some changes to be less lame they go and do something to make sure we are all aware that they are still tried and true d-bags.

supersolider the PC is the superior platform graphics are better we don't need autoaim and we don't have load screens every 2 seconds, console hardware is 10 years behind the PC. Plus we already have the console dlc do a google search you will find what I'm taking about in the form of a 3kb save file.

Why can't PC gamers just accept the inevitable, PC GAMING IS DYING FAST. Consoles are the future. Always were. Developers are tired of seeing their games being ripped off at massive rates on the PC. Stop bootlegging games and maybe they might show some support. But that is the general idea with PC gamers, they want the games but without paying.

Dead Space 2 just keeps getting better.

Hey yeah don't worry about us PC players EA. Its not like we pay for your stuff anymore, right? Total lack of support, reduced content, and no DLC! That'll show us pirates! Last time I buy an EA game on PC...

I know I will end up getting it, but typically I'm not a fan of escort missions, especially if the AI has problems.
