Tip: Image Hosting Emblem
If you’ve been paying attention to our image hosting news over the past month, you might just see a nifty emblem for complying to our new policies. Introducing: Robocorn, coming to a profile near you!
Emblem: Robicorn
Description: Hey look, it's a totally original dude wearing armor. With a huge gun and a helmet (a visor?). And he's riding a unicorn. This user was granted this magical emblem for not having any of their user profile images hosted on untrusted websites during The Great Purge of March 2013.

FYI, there was an issue with the Robocorn emblem, and those responsible have been sacked. We'll get it all sorted out shortly.
After several tries of switching my image hosting I think I'm just going to keep my current user icon.
I've not seen another user that got my user icon randomly and I can't change it, so I think Lark is trolling me.

Was your previous avatar hosted on a site not listed here? That's the only reason you should have had it changed.
As for being unable to update your avatar, how are you trying to do that? I just confirmed that I was able to upload my own image to GameSpot to use, but it should also be accepting images that are hosted on one of the sites listed on the article.
@LarkAnderson Not sure where it was located before. I've tried going into user settings and using a imgurl link and also uploading my own image direct to GS. I tried one way twice and the other once. It worked for about an hour or so and then switched back.
1 Like Most of the users I'm seeing with the emblem had their avatars replaced in the purge. I suspect a logic error in the assignment of this emblem.

When is this new emblem being given out??
I still have all my pictures on my profile ... so I'm guessing that I qualify. ;P
Hmm... I would like Robicorn, but I wonder if image.com.com will be recognized as native or not...
I think the Valentine emblem is magical too since I never got it. :P
How long is this emblem being able to be received?
@RPG_Fan_I_Am I believe it is,only with trusted image-hosting sites for your profile recommended by Lark himself will do just fine
@Smashbrossive50 @RPG_Fan_I_Am Well he (or she) doesn't really have any user profile pic, so that's to say they probably won't get it.
@Smashbrossive50 @PumpkinBoogie 'Yes' true....but you only get the emblem if you've done so AND have your user pic (or whatever other user images you put on here) using one of those said image hosting sites. Not to be nosy on somebodies profile but RPG doesn't even have ANY images associated w/ his/her profile.
So they're NOT gonna get this emblem (even if they do have an account). THAT'S what I'm getting at.
@PumpkinBoogie only if that person reads this, that person should at least own at least one account from the listed websites

@Sidburn19 If you don't have offsite image hosting to any of the ineligible sites, you'll receive the emblem.
