Counter-Strike creator Minh "Gooseman" Le's next game, the free-to-play shooter Tactical Intervention, will launch March 28, publisher OGPlanet announced today.

An open beta for Tactical Intervention will be held March 14-25 in the lead up to the game's full release.

Like Counter-Strike, Tactical Intervention is a competitive shooter pitting terrorists against peacekeepers. Gamers can take part in deathmatch, Hostage Rescue, and VIP Escort gametypes. In addition, a variety of real-world weaponry used by counterterrorists and insurgents alike will be available to players.

Tactical Intervention will also include a number of different vehicles, with drivers and riders alike able to spray bullets at their enemies.
