Counter-Strike got my eye in the headline, but this video did not, but who knows.

looks fun idk why everyone thinks it sucks or looks lame. i cant wait to try it and see all the tactics used in this game maybe its a whole new counter strike with more realistic tactics and features

Um... This already had a closed beta. Like, last year or 2 years ago. Barely anybody played it :/. Old, old, old news. Though hopefully this beta run will be more popular.

Judging by [URL=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYm6Ld_we4k]beta footage[/URL], it doesn't look all that great. It may be the same creator as CS, but I'm not too interested.

This could be really interesting... if it's quality.

I for one can never have enough GOOD fps games to play. I'm not about to play the slew of bad ones/copys though.

Counter-Strike is the greatest online game ever.

Counter Strike is still played by many gamers, but I have to say...Why now? FPS games have been squeezed out these past few years that I'm getting tired of seeing another FPS game. But it's a good thing that they aren't using the Counter Strike game to ruin it's great reputation.

I thought this was dead, seriously i've been looking into it for the past few months and the forums/news section was long dead. Nice that its still in development.

@Tom gooseman was instrumental in the development of the GoldSRC HL1 mod Counterstrike, he had little if no "intervention" in CS:Source on the Source engine. : )

Wow, this might be pretty interesting. I'll give it a try. I wonder what the gunplay will be like. Hoping it's more Stalker or Red Orchestra like. edit: @Tom: Your wording makes it sound like Counter-Strike GO is a mod for HL2, and that HL2 was the game that the Counter-Strike mod started on.

Looks like CS with vehicles. Awesome.
