Commandos 2 complete
Eidos Interactive's squad-based real-time strategy game sequel is finished.
GameSpot Spain has learned from Pyro Studios' lead designer Gonzalo Suárez that the PC version of Commandos 2: Men of Courage, Eidos Interactive's upcoming squad-based strategy game, is complete. Suárez also stated that once the Sony PlayStation 2 and Sega Dreamcast versions of the game are complete, he will leave Pyro Studios along with 13 members of the Commandos 2 team to begin work on a new project.
Commandos 2 is set during World War II in a variety of locations, including a tropical island, an Arctic camp, a German town, and an industrial port. Players control a group of characters with different abilities, and they must complete missions that combine action, strategy, and puzzle elements.
Commandos 2: Men of Courage is scheduled for release in September. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
