Collector selling every SNES game for $25,000
eBay listing includes 721 SNES titles released in US, Mexico, and Canada; seller willing to take best offer, but has declined all thus far.
Auction site eBay is home to numerous SNES collections, but one is more comprehensive than the rest. eBay user "kaisetsuna" is unloading a collection that includes all 721 SNES titles released in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The asking price is $24,999 or best offer.
Forty-nine offers have been made thus far, including 13 today alone. All have been rejected.
The collection--which weighs in at 400 pounds--includes boxes for each game, as well as 85 percent of all manuals. Conditions range from near mint to fair, with each game having been "professionally" cleaned and tested.
Writing on Reddit, the seller said it would be preferable to complete a potential sale outside of eBay so as to avoid the auction site's fees.
