Codemasters Releases Micro Maniacs Racing
The tiny racers of FoxKids.com Micro Maniacs arrive on the PlayStation.
Codemasters has announced that is has shipped FoxKids.com Micro Maniacs Racing for the Sony PlayStation. The game plays from the top-down perspective, and players race as one of eight little creatures (as well as four bonus characters) instead of tiny cars. In the multiplayer mode, up to eight players can race at once, without a split screen. Among the 32 courses are one set in the kitchen and one set in the front yard.
"Codemasters wanted to develop a game that would take the multiplayer racing genre in a unique and downright odd direction," said Michael Hayes, worldwide director of sales and marketing for Codemasters. "The unbelievable velocity in FoxKids.com Micro Maniacs Racing, combined with the charming characters, creates a very addicting gaming experience."
The characters and other elements of the game will also be featured on FoxKids.com, with interactive Internet-based games, animated shorts, and more. FoxKids.com Micro Maniacs Racing retails for US$39.99.
