Codemasters going downhill in Europe

Codemasters announces that it has secured the PAL distribution rights to Incog's bike racing game Downhill Domination.

Codemasters announced that it has secured the PAL distribution rights to Downhill Domination for the PlayStation 2. The mountain bike racing game, which was released in North America earlier this year through Sony Computer Entertainment America, is currently scheduled for release in Europe and other PAL territories in spring 2004.

"We are delighted to sign Downhill Domination," said Mike Hayes, group marketing director at Codemasters. "It represents pure, unadulterated fun, and, in a market where extreme sports titles are hugely popular, it's the only mountain bike game available for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system."

Downhill Domination features 14 riders and no less than 27 downhill courses spanning nine mountain ranges. For more information on Downhill Domination, check out our previous coverage of the game.
