Civilization Facebook renamed, alpha test starts Jan. 12

facebook is soon going to die, too much crap on there. Most of my friends have stop using it.

oh yeah! really looking forward to this.

There are very few Facebook games that are really "fun". Actually, I can't think of one. I have tried many and just can't get into them.

Does anything really beat Civ via e-mail?

Civ-ville erm, Farm-ization, ermmm..... I'm not on Farcebook, so why do I care? Oh that's right, I don't.

I'll stick to Civ IV

another console one would be better.

civ v just updated last december, and introduced huge number of features including that thingy when you hover your mouse pointer on top of the relations with another civ, it will actually tell you why they are happy or angry at you. example of the words to hover over are, friendly, guarded neutral and hostile.

I have a better idea...how about forgetting about friggin' Facebook and start working on better diplomacy in Civ V! I guess they pretty much all but abandoned the idea of players actually knowing what's going on in their games.

The world's two most addicting things... put together. This might just be the death of my relationship with everyone I care about.

Interesting concept. I would personally love to play a CIV game with those friends who don't exactly have a great running PC. Just hope that this project doesn't take up too much of their time so that the next CIV is delayed. :/
