I like the games equally already though , but if you're gonna make productivity I sugest you follow the gamers instincts.!

Red Dead Redemption and God of War III deserve more sales.

insult lost planet 2? thats just ridiculous, its definately one of the best 3rd person shooters on the market, and its not right for gamespot to criticize it because they dont know how to play it.

@ tonymedhurst yeah it is a bad thing. gta used to be an awesome franchise but after vice city, it kinda went downhill imo. then after that we had a sudden influx of sandbox games that just re-hashed ideas like crackdown etc. plus gta4 being the worst gta game. so yeah it is a bad thing because red dead doesnt really have anything original in it. flame me or thumbs down this comment if you like, it will just show that people on gs forums just eat up everything that gs says. you people havent realised that they, along with ign are being paid big money to plug the big games like red dead. which is why i didnt trust the reviews of galaxy 2. that game isnt perfect but it is damn good and should be top!

Half those games on that list are more deserving then Red Dead Redemption. It's just GTA4 with Western antics. Seriously, anyone who says otherwise really you are blind. I sold my copy a week and a half into it lol So boring. It has Rockstar on it, so it sell's. Reminds me of CoD freaks.

@silverdoe It's actually exclusive gang hideout content too. I have both a 360 and ps3, xbox live party is nice but it's not necessary with the posse system in RDR.

@Kan0nF0dder trust me understand it isnt the first one but compared to alot of games out there its decent. People switching to battlefield is nothing but good news to me..its a bad ass game. :)

@DBSK009 Are you kidding me? I wasn't saying that 4 should be IIII not IV, I was saying that IIII is used for the number 4 on numeral clocks.

@rndllck I think you're wrong. I think RDR will outsell SmG2 in the long run.

@x-2tha-z clearly you missed my point SMG2 will outsell RDR2 easily, both versions combined will not be half as many SMG2's sold. Will that happen this month probably not but by January of next year it will. Nintendo knows this, so does everyone else and now you can say you do as well. Mario never dissapoints, games like RDR2 are one pump chumps but Mario can last for months.

@Phooey442 Yeah, the hate for MW2 has nothing to do with the fact that it's multiplayer is inferior to the original MW in every possible way. It lacks balance, takes almost no skill to play (hence many MP fan moving on the Bad Company 2), DLC is crazy expensive and the best of it is the maps from the original MW (LOL), 90% of the time whoever spots who first wins - not the case with MW if you had some skill, don't even get me strated on the killstreaks, it's a campers dream....I could go on and on here, the game is straight up BAD and deserves the hate. There is absoultely no comparison with the emo scene or anything like that, the game just sucks. Then there's activision and Kotick....I mean, damn.

people love to hate the popular stuff nowadays (MW2) guess its why the whole gay emo i wanna be different but dont realize im just being the same crap started......love is pain

Yeah there is hardly any, though I would recommend Outlaws, it was published by Lucasarts on PC and was most excellent.

Super mario galaxy 2 and rdr are the best and that luckily shows

@rndllck SMG2 was released on May 23rd RDR was released on May 18th. RDR only had slightly longer at retail. The Wii has a much bigger userbase than 360 and PS3 yet SMG2 was outsold by a RDR. Nearly twice as many 360 copies of RDR were sold than SMG2 on Wii. SMG2's sales are disappointing.

@secondguess213 yeah, i completely agree with you. i gave it two good tries, i just couldn't get into it. @swamptick Duh, there is more Xbox owners. Wii and Xbox will always top the charts.

@x-2tha-z You know SMG2 released towards the end of May and these figures are just for the month of May. Remember nintendo wins from sustained sales thats why MarioKart Wii has sold over 20 million copies. Nobody beats Mario! lol

Makes me wonder what kind of world we live in when Wii Fit beats out Alan Wake. Disturbing. At least Pokemon (x2) didn't. Don't know if I could bear it if that had happened.

@ shooters125: Hey Rip van Winkle have you been living under a rock for the past decade ? GOW4 came out this year for the new ps4 console. Another new release is COD Modern Warfare 9 but exclusive to the xbox-720, but I would not recomend it coz its single player campaign is now less than 1 hour long.

Woah God of War IIII? Did I oversleep 2-3 years? Man I got some game catching up to do here. Might as well pick up Mass Effect 3 and Demon's Souls 2 while Im at it.

How many Wii's have been sold? Over 60 million? Wow. SMG2's sales are disappointing. This shows how much of the Wii's userbase is only interested in Wii Sports and Just Dance.

Well... according to the charts gamers sure know what are the best games! :P Still i'm surprised to see that lost planet 2 got so far... it's one of those games that your supposed to get for free when you buy a new gfx card.

I think Microsoft and Sony need a game with an old fat plumber in it. It seems like anything with Mario in the name always sells no matter if its good or not.

By the way look at any clock that has Roman Numerals and study it well yourself because you just proved you never have. You will see that "IIII" certainly does mean something. I know my Roman Numerals quite well and you must be rather slow to come off saying that and truly mean it, Go back to IGN and get out of here.

Mario has three core games and a spin-off in the Top 20 at the SAME TIME. That boggles the mind. Also nice to see ModNation crack the Top 20. It's actually a better game than Mario Kart Wii (more skill-based and less random) and has a ton of charm.
