Publisher officially announces '90s arcade games Tower of Doom and Shadow Over Mystara coming to XBLA, PC, Wii U, and PSN this summer for $15.
BOSTON--Today during the "World of Capcom" panel at PAX East, Capcom confirmed that its '90s arcade Dungeons & Dragons titles Tower of Doom and Shadow Over Mystara will launch on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, PC, and Wii U this summer as part of the $15 Chronicles of Mystara collection.
This was rumored last week.
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara will support four-player drop-in, drop-out gameplay, as well as high-definition graphics and "unique combat and spells." In addition, players will be able to customize rule sets and unlock a series of extras. These were not named.
Wii U gamers will be able to use the GamePad controller to scroll through items, among other uses.

This is great, I LOVE these games. I played the first game at Six Flags, which was the only place I knew of that to play it. When MAME finally came out I was pleasantly suprised that there was a SEQUEL! Now I can play these whenever I want on my HDTV. Hell yes.

I gess you cant play on HD graphics I1d like to see this game REMAKE like they did with Super Street Fighter HD... if they put real HD remastered OK! better than filters avaliable on emulators, but the original resolution of this game is about 640x480 if they filter it upscaling it will be the same as some filters we use on emulators which are not legal... but free...Online Multiplayer would be far superior than Kalliera servers and been on consoles mean you can sit on you coach and play whenever you want...

Very cool. I've been wanting this for awhile since I never did finish these games at the arcade many, many years ago. Only thing we need now is a launch date and that might not come until the E3.

@sleepingzzz sega genesis collection solves your problem...if you have a psp (i think its avalible to download on vita as well) or ps2. and it might be on the sonic's mega genesis collection for ps3 and 360...go check im not 100%% on that
Shadow Over Mystara is seriously awesome, from fluid, fast gameplay to mesmerizing, "they-don't-make-them-like-these-anymore" soundtrack. Even the name entry music is amazing. It'll be gorgeous in HD. I have it on a CPS2 emulator for the PSP and I will definitely get this in the future.
@theperm lol Still a good call, especially on the Castlevania 3 part. Definitely my favorite of the NES trilogy. I still play it on an emulator from time to time.

everyone repeat after me: EMULATOR.
you can play multi-player, you can enhance the graphics, you can go into the settings and "customize rulesets" and runs perfectly by the way.
Was this the original arcade rpg that existed? I never enjoyed rpg's until later in life so I skipped this game entirely for fighting games back then. I hope it's good! ^_^

This summer so far is going to be AMAZING for DL games. The new TMNT game looks awesome. D and D is finally getting a good console port, and of course........mother@%#$ing DUCKTALES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO-OO!
