Got 4 of the 5 for "CoD: WaW" (PC version) for free as part of a patch, and now I'm expected to pay for them all over again with "BlOps" 's weaponry and GFX? No thanks.
Activision confirms $15 five-map multiplayer add-on will arrive on Sony, Windows platforms later this month.
Call of Duty: Black Ops map packs on the PlayStation 3 have reliably followed their Xbox 360 counterparts by about a month, thanks to a timed exclusivity deal between Microsoft and Activision. Rezurrection will be no different, as Activision confirmed today that Black Ops' fourth multiplayer expansion pack will arrive for the PS3 and PC on September 22.
The $15 add-on includes five levels for the game's Zombie mode, as well as an updated soundtrack and "Moon" theme. The first four maps (Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese) are remakes of the environments from Call of Duty: World at War, the game that first introduced zombies. The fifth map--Moon--is entirely new and takes place in outer space, on the moon.
The four upgraded World at War maps won't be new to all gamers. These maps were included with the Hardened and Prestige iterations of Call of Duty: Black Ops. Owners of these top-tier editions can download the Rezurrection pack for free on August 23 to get the Moon map, soundtrack, and theme.

if you people dont want it and want to talk about modern gayfare 3 go somewhere else cause i dont care
@X_Colbert_X MW3 has no zombies, and this map is zombies-only. [The other map packs are absolute crap though]
Was that Wolverines voice actor at the end? lol he's everywhere but what I would raally like to see is a Duke Nukem map that would be awesome in call of duty 3 or 2 and the moon dosnt look bad
Wow was that Wolverines voice actor at the end lol but want I would really want is a Duke Nukem Map now that would be awesome in call of duty and the moon looks fun too
So wait, four of the five maps already exist on a previous Call of Duty game, and Modern Warfare 3 is coming out in two months. This isn't a good business strategy Activision.
These maps existed throughout the whole duration of Black Ops' existence, and now's when they want to release it? That's just unfair. Just freaking despicable.
I'll probably buy this since I plan on not getting the MW2 Part 2 game. Survival Mode looks unfreakingbelievably lame, while Zombies has always been awesome for me. I already have the WAW, but this way I'll be able to actually play them online. Der Riese was the best zombie map ever made, period. After this, no more shelling out cash to Activision. Just going to save some money for November 15th. Oh yeah!
The saddest thing is that for all of us in the comments who look at this and go WTF, there's probably just enough mofos out there who will buy this pack and toss it aside in two months once MW3 comes out. Sadly, Activision does this because they know they'll have enough sheep out there that will flock to it SMH
When did games become so disposable? They release the same damn thing every year, idiots buy it, and then throw in this hastily put together DLC to make up for it. Here's my philosophy: If a series needs a new game every year to remain relevant, then it's not worth playing. Crappy DLC just makes it even worse.
So glad other games are coming out, I need a COD break. hoping MW3 has a better lobby matching system, nothing like having a lobby with a bunch of 0.8's like me vs a bunch of 2.0's that really make me want to keep playing :-(
lol, 4 of the same maps...seriously?...there's too many other good games coming out this fall to even waste any money on a game that already sucks.
Overpriced. Came out late. MW3 is coming out in less than 2 months, and they're releasing it now. Dumbs#!+s.
i also bought burnout paradise for $8 i didnt believe it was true but it is,,, its in bundles on psn,,, now thats a deal...
Im trading my friend a MW2 map pack for this so its a good deal for me since i wont have to spend money :)
that's what? 1 and a half month before the new game? I can do with normal zombie mode btw, very entertaining already.
@Rocker6 It's called Microsoft has another way to compete with the PS3, much like an exclusive. If you don't like it and think it's "an annoyance", go buy an Xbox! Because no one feels sorry for you.
So, let me get this straight: Activision is expecting PS3 and PC users to purchase an overpriced map pack for a game that will be rendered essentially obsolete by the company's newest iteration of the series which launches in less than two months? Pardon my French, but why the **** would someone buy this?
Another rip off map pack? You would think Activision would give away some free download content to all their fans who made them incredibly rich, but I guess you can't expect that from an incredibly greedy company.
@PSplayer09 Because Xbox is getting obsolete very fast lately,so M$ is trying to keep it alive as much as possible with these stupid time exclusives.I dont care about this one,but the fact how first 2 DLCs for Skyrim will be Xbox timed exclusives is an annoyance.
