If you're interested in our review for Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit you might be wondering why, at the time of this writing, we've rated the Xbox 360 version but not the PlayStation 3 one. I realize that conspiracy theories detailing our supposed hatred of everything Sony can be fun, and I was sorely tempted to come up with one of my own, but the simple fact of the matter is that we haven't got our hands on a PS3 copy of the game yet. I expect the two versions will end up being near-identical, but obviously that's not an assumption we can make in a review. The PS3 version will be arriving in stores tomorrow, so definitely expect a review soon.

For the record, I'm not a big Dragon Ball Z fan and I doubt I ever will be. That's probably quite apparent in the review. What should also be apparent is that I enjoyed Burst Limit for what it is--a fast-paced and accessible fighting game with....well, with all of the other stuff mentioned in the review. Go read it.

In other news, I'm working on a review for the DS version of Arkanoid right now and I'm more than a little disappointed that it the US version isn't shipping with the paddle controller attachment it was packaged with in Japan. I guess I'll probably end up importing one of those.

The thing that always confuses me about cross-platform titles is the DLC available. Does one system just not support it? Does this ever tip the scales one way or the other? Obviously these add-ons are never around at press time, so it's impossible to review, but if there was a way to get some feedback, I'd love it.

The PS3 review has been live for a while at this point guys. Predictably, the two versions are practically identical, but we prefer to check that stuff for ourselves rather than just assume it to be the case.

It's cool I'm a ps3 owner and while sometimes it's annoying that you don't review the ps3 version 360 and ps3 do not differ that drastically so the reviews are valid either way...

When you search for a game on GameSpot the results seem somewhat random. I think it's based on popularity. It's definitely not decide on by the GameSpot staff.

So then what you are saying is that Sony is making it hard on Gamespot. Not that everytime I search for a game the 360 version pops up, then there are adds and next comes the pc version if there is one followed by the PS3 version. Lol.

Where's the Top Spin 3 review? It's been out for about 7 days in Europe. Sorry, I know it's probaby busy over there at the Gamespot office, but I want to know what you guys thought about the game.

If anyone decides they want to get Arkanoid DS, importing the Japanese version is the way to go. Using a stylus or a D-pad for it just isn't the same.

I think I'm going to make this my first summer game purchase.

He was probably the most qualified reviewer on the team. Ryan Davis reviewed the previous games, but he doesn't work for GameSpot any more.

"For the record, I'm not a big Dragon Ball Z fan and I doubt I ever will be." Neither am I, however, I have to ask, why is that you reviewed the game? Seems to me that Dragon Ball fan should have been the one to review the game, same as you would have FPS fan review Halo, or have platformer fan review Mario.

cont. tenkaichi 1,2,3. those were some good games i loved the fighting and the graphics were good... burst limit is just looking like the budokai titles that were just soooooo boring.

Im a huge dbz fan i've watched it from dbz but the dragon ball... it was too boring. The graphics and the fighting is real good. but it just became repetitive like every cut scene they did the same thing they should have changed it up a lil bit. i think the side by side fighting isn't a good idea also cause your not really getting the whole scenery. I liked the screen from dbz

the makers of this game are redoing the budokai seies and making it beter but soon they are going to do it to the buu sarga then all dragonball,z,gt it's all about the money also who needs 160 characters most of you will pick gohan, goku, vegeta, broly, freiza(bad name) and cell i mean tell the truth do you onestly frequintly play as the giue force or hercule once you got super saiyan there all you play.

im a dbz fan to but this game just lacked moves and characters i think it was a big step back and they could have done more with the game with all that space they have on the blurays.the good things are fast paced gameplay and stuning visuals but the lack of moves and abilities make the game boring after a while plus the drama pieces get annoying after a while

The main question is how this game stacks up to the countless other DBZ fighters. I guess this game still looks a bit shallow, but I guess I'll pick it up for the fanboy in me.

actually, for some strange reason i haven't receiived my copy of the game either. Also i'm not saying we need a dbz fanboy reviewing the game, but at least someone who is informed and knows the history of dbz titles.

If you really want to have this game and your on t Gold Coast it's comming out in JB HI-FI on the 19 of june not the 3 of July on ps3 and 360 :)

I'm not sure how much of a minority PS3 owners are now...and you can bet over the next couple years it will likely be the other way around... Good to hear they doing a PS3 review !

Lol, man these guys must get a lot of hate mail and things like that from Sony fanboys. I don't blame GS though, I mean, they are the minority now.

That reminds me, any idea of when we will see a reviews for Penny Arcade on the PC? I realise that there is probably little difference between the 360 and the PC, just seems that sometimes Gamespot forgets about non-console games :)
