Burnout 3 Web site launches

Electronic Arts has launched the official Web site for its upcoming high-speed racer Burnout 3: Takedown. The game, due for release on the Xbox and the PlayStation 2 in September, lets players race a variety of high-performance vehicles through city streets. Burnout 3 ups the danger by rewarding players for both close calls and bumping other cars by adding even more speed. The Web site currently has basic game information, while complete soundtrack samples, message boards, and mysterious "accelerated content" will come soon. Burnout 3 is rated "T" for Teen and will cost $49.95.
