Tweet from Bungie senior UI designer warn players not to seek out invites from third parties.
Halo and Marathon creators Bungie are currently accepting applications for alpha and beta testers for its upcoming shooter Destiny.
According to a Twitter message from Bungie’s senior user interface designer David Candland, the company is looking for interested applicants. He also warned gamers not to accept beta invites from third party sources. Players who wish to apply can do so on this page.
Destiny was announced last February and was unveiled as a sci-fi first-person shooter with social and online elements. The game was also confirmed to be released on the upcoming Sony console, the PS4. There is no release date for the game as of yet.
I already signed up a couple days ago. lol For once I was proactive about beta sign-ups. Instead of just waiting to hear about it.
@Mr_BillGates What about console hackers?, you moron
BTW, PC would allow this game too look and play far more then even the new consoles would.
Really? They are looking for ALPHA testers? So they are looking for their own employees? Did they lose their developers and they are looking for them?
GS please Alpha testing is done by people who was involved in the development of a piece of software.
some games have non-company alpha testers. the difference between this and beta is that usually the alpha is sent to very few people and there is a Non Disclosure Agreement (they cant film their gameplay and post it on the internet)
@jfontalba I'm just glad that for once they aren't selling Alpha/Beta access with pre-orders. Fucking sick of this trend of companies getting people to PAY THEM to test their game.
@jfontalba It is very odd for them to do alpha tests, especially since it would seem that the game is in the beta stage.
I hope Myth come back even if they make it RPG, but really hope it come back, and hope they Destiny available in PC 2
@Printul_Noptii It's coming to PC... They can't have beta testers for the new consoles cause they're not even out yet..
I'll save you guys some time and by letting you know that I'm going to win, so don't even try to fill out an application because I already have it in the bag.
