We bought the DLC disk and are unable to unlock any Pirates Booty items once found. This is even after completing the main mission and being awarded the Pirates Booty . Any ideas?
Borderlands 2 DLC bundle hits Feb. 26

Add-On Content Pack for Xbox 360 and PS3 includes Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty and Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage for $40.
2K Games and Gearbox Software today announced the Borderlands 2: Add-On Content Pack for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Due to retailers worldwide February 26, the bundle includes previous digital expansions Captain Scarlett and Her Captain's Booty and Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage for $40.
The Borderlands 2: Add-On Content Pack also includes the game's fifth playable character Gaige, additional heads and skins, a golden key used to loot from the Sanctuary, and access to the Creature Slaughter Dome battle arena.
Notably, a full copy of Borderlands 2 is not included with the bundle, but is required to play all its content. For more on Borderlands 2, check out GameSpot's review.

@DarthLod Each peice of DLC is $10 as well as Gaige. The new Skins they put out are $15 if you buy them for everyone. So that is $65. The pass is $30, $10 for Gaige if you had to pay for her, and $15 for the new Skins if they are on this disc, they could just be the skins included with the 2 DLC's. I think that is likely since the skins came out around the same time as Hammerlock that isn't on this disc. That is $55 so still your going to save at least $10. Myself I got Gaige, the Arena, and all the DLC's packs for $30 so I saved at least $20 since I am not getting skins for a FPS that don't do anything. It is possible the level cap increase will be part of the Season Pass but not free otherwise, just based on the comments made about how hard it is proving to make by Randy.
I'll say it again, because nobody is reading down that far, and people are flipping out about incorrect information:
I don't know who got what wrong, but IGN (and Joystiq) are saying the DLC pack is actually $29.99

@MrMisanthrope Considering how much each DLC costs individually, $40 still would've been a good price.
2 Like eventually all this dlc will be on steam for $7.50... I'll get it when its $15 as i do really enjoy BL2. No effing way will I pay full price for for how little actual content you get.
That is really expensive for DLC, wish there was more infor about how many hours of campaign this adds.
3 Like Anyone else *think* that a lot of this DLC was already ready when the game released? I know they said they waited until the game went gold and off for replication but it seems they've pumped out a ton of content in a very short time.
Just playing devil's advocate and it seems possible to me...
@AnakinSW When the game was finished they had to wait a really long time to make its way through different tiers of approval before it could be released. During that approval phase, they kept working on developing content. If they had included all that content, they would have had to wait an extra 3-4 months (or more) to get the game reapproved. So technically the content was ready when the game was released, but thats because they kept working during the approval process.
What I want to know is are you going to release more DLC after this? It seems like you guys are pumping it out pretty regularly and it's obviously popular, so it can't be out of the question.
I was defending Gearbox before launch with regard to their DLC, but I take it back. They haven't been as good as the first game's AND they're gouging for it now. Not cool.
I just bought the game for $30 on amazon and love it, but I'm not sure how I going to buy the DLC, I won't buy it this way. I'll either but a season pass and wait for gaige to be a XBL deal of the week, or just wait for all of it to be on XBLs deal of the week.

@juiceair it's not inevitable because the game would have to have been awarded the title Game of the Year by someone in order for them to use the title, they can always release a "complete edition" like they did for FORZA 3. Anyway, IF it is going to happen it won't happen until this fall or later.

1 Like @HappyBB Well you can say what you want but the game itself has more content then 90% of the games coming out now a days so for them to give us a whole other game for 40 that I can keep my characters and what not with I'll take it. This is just for those people who don't have gold or xbox live so they can't download it. For those who can they can just purchase the season pass.

2 Like I have no problem with this, considering the content was actually produced after the game was finished, rather than Gearbox purposely holding back the content for later release.
Also, people wanting to have physical media over some digitally distributed copy isn't that bad at all.
The major problem with these sorts of packages, though, is that people install them from the disc, then take the disc back for a refund. It's not right, but it works.
1 Like DLC is a great way to throw money away for little content. Look at all you idiots who have basically spent almost double the price for one game at least $100+ and the game has only been out for four months.
The only reason gaming developers do this is because all the ignorant gamers Paying them to do it.

1 Like WHAT?! $40 for 2 $10 DLCs? That's only $20. Include the slaughter dome and the collectors skins for another $10, mechromancer for $5... you're only at $35. The golden key has no value, as they are so easy to get. I've got 29 right now.
So sell $35 worth of content for $40. Anybody who picks up this pack is insane. Absolutely insane. There is no redeeming value to this.

I thought this would be a special deal or something. So many of it's players like me pre ordered it to get Gaige, the gold key and the other stuff... So this is completely useless.

@stealth6spy Look more carefully, it contains 5 pieces of DLC (examine cover), not 2, it's just 2 campain dlcs. Plus it's $30, not $40, gamespot got it wrong, ign and joystiq both say it's $30. Don't get me wrong, most DLC is overpriced (Cough...COD...Cough), but overall 2K is one of the better companies on this front.

@Altazen @Ultra_Taco What you mean make a really boring story with a terrible ending? I think CDPR and Bioware already have that market covered. The price is $30 not $40 so you get the skins and the arena for free but still pay for the 2 DLC's and Gaige so not a bad deal for anyone. Unless your a Witcher 2 fan that love Dragon Age 2 level designs in your game with lame stories and hate Skyrim. Jokes on you since the Witcher 3 will be more like Skyrim! Want to bet they charge for DLC this time?
