BMX XXX goes gold
Acclaim announces that its BMX game for the Xbox, PS2, and GameCube is now complete.
Acclaim has announced that BMX XXX has gone gold and should be shipping soon for the Xbox, PS2, and GameCube consoles. According to Acclaim senior brand manager Ben Fischbach, the company "believe[s] that this will be a must-have title for Xbox owners this holiday season." The controversial game, which was originally intended to be an official follow-up to Acclaim's Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, features risqué material that has raised a considerable amount of concern among both publishers.
According to the announcement, BMX XXX should be available on November 15 for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 and will also become available for the GameCube "in mid-November." For more information on BMX XXX, consult our previous coverage from the links to the right.
