If they made a trainer that you cold hook up as a controller and it would give the trainer greater resistance as you went up hills then it would be playable. That way on the cold days I could just stay in and get a good workout.
Blood Bowl devs take on Tour de France
Cyanide Studio pedaling official game based on annual cycling event to Xbox 360, PS3 this summer.
This year's Tour de France is getting a couple new stops, as Focus Home Interactive today announced that it will release a game based on the annual cycling race on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Europe on July 1.
Development duties on the title will be handled by Cyanide Studios, the outfit behind the most recent adaptations of Games Workshops' fantasy sports board game Blood Bowl. However, Cyanide has plenty of experience with actual sports, having created numerous installments in the Pro Cycling Manager series.
Unlike the management focus of Cyanide's previous cycling games, Tour de France: The Official Game will put players in control of a single rider through all 21 stages of the race. However, team management will still come into play, as players will build and erode alliances with their fellow cyclists throughout the race.
The actual Tour de France starts on July 2 and runs through July 24, with riders covering a total of 3,430.5 kilometers (2,132 miles) in that span. It will be the 98th time the race has been held.
