  • One-on-Two With Freddie and Brandon

It was the perfect crime. They leapt out, gunned a man down in front of 12 witnesses, and then walked away. OK, perhaps they wouldn't have gotten away with it had Moseley not respawned, but that's all water under the bridge. For today's behind-the-scenes short, we catch up with our special guests Freddie and Brandon to talk about the making of their first Moseley kill. And in case you haven't caught on, it won't be their last. They have plenty more perils in store for our host, but you'll have to wait until Friday to see them. In the meantime, check the video below.

  • GameSpot's Cataclysm Awakening!

In the past week, you might have noticed numerous World of Warcraft-related video features on the site. Our offices have been nothing but abuzz about the changes since World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and GameSpot staff members who never thought they would return have given the game a second chance for some further exploration!

Hours before the expansion's release, GameSpot US and GameSpot UK attended the official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm launch events hosted by Blizzard in London and United States. The US launch event had performances by Tavern Band and The Artist Formerly Known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain.

With nearly 1,000 people standing in line at the US location, Blizzard also humored everyone with a dance contest that featured the talented and not-so-talented. GameSpot US had the opportunity to interview Blizzard legends like J. Allen Brack and Rob Pardo.

Also, if you're a fan of Blizzard's games, you might consider a visit to its official headquarters a dream come true! You'll want to check out the studio tour we had just hours prior to the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm! Lastly, if you're pondering a return to World of Warcraft, we have provided a then-and-now fly-through and a gear up for Cataclysm video that shares where you should go.

  • TOTS: April 1 Special Edition

    • Posted Apr 2, 2010 2:37 am GMT
    • By Frank Adams

It has been a long tradition here at GameSpot to have a lot of fun, fictitious content surrounding April 1. This year we went all out and dedicated an entire TOTS show to the April Fools experience, and since we couldn't attach these segments to any official game spaces, we wanted to highlight them in our Producer's Note blog. We had a lot of fun making them, so please enjoy!

Starting it all off is Tor Thorsen with the news.

Next up we take a look at the new DLC for Mass Effect 2.

Now we take a look at a Halo fan who will be first in line at any cost.

Mega Man is back, and the GameSpot editors give us their gut reactions.

And now David Good brings us a peek at the new all-in-one cross-platform motion controller from MadDogz!

One segment that didn't make the cut is a commercial for the new DSI LL/XL-XL featuring GS community manager Jody Robinson.

And lastly, since the MadDogz Move Master XP had so many exciting features that we couldn't fit them all into our TOTS segment, here are some rad outtakes from that shoot.
