Blitz 2002 ships

Midway has announced that Blitz 2002 has shipped. The game features an enhanced graphics engine, as well as 1,500 new player animations. In Blitz 2002, players will be able to edit pass routes and assignments for any offensive or defensive team member, but the core gameplay will still remain true to previous games in the series, with over-the-top tackles and plays.

The Xbox version of Blitz 2002 is scheduled to ship in March.
