Black Ops II Revolution DLC hits PS3, PC February 28

Latest Call of Duty adds first map pack for new platforms on last day of this month.
The Revolution map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II will come to the PlayStation 3 and PC February 28, Activision announced today. The content launched for the Xbox 360 last month.
The pack is available as a free download for those who hold a $50 Black Ops II Season Pass and as an individual download for $15.
Revolution for Black Ops II adds four new maps (Downhill, Hydro, Mirage, and Grind) for the game's multiplayer component, as well as a new Zombies map called Die Rise. In addition, the content ushers in a new game mode called Turned, in which players can compete against one another as a zombie.
Lastly, the Revolution expansion for Black Ops II brings a bonus multiplayer weapon called the Peacekeeper, which features its own set of weapon challenges.

You can really only go upwards from the stagnant, uninspired maps came with launch. I liked other things in the MP, but the maps were enough to quickly dry my appetite for COD 2012.
Why does the pic embedded in the article look like a skate park? this must be a Neversoft made level....
The new maps are the best yet because the ones that come with the game are pretty lame! The maps are kinda small though. The peacekeeper is weak gun that feels just like the M27 even though it's a sub.
I'm getting it. I read a review on this DLC...the reviewer said the meat was the multiplayer maps. What was he smoking..the zombies map is what I needed when the game first lauched. That Tranzit crap is terrible, and the maps are so small, players are forced to grab each other genitals. Ok, I went a little far...

If it was for the first BO or MW3 I'd probably buy it, but BO2 was malodorous. Fortunately I was able to use the DLC for the Hardened Edition on release day and resell it before Christmas for what I paid.

2 Like I don't play COD anymore, but I have to admit these maps look pretty entertaining.. but the preview for them.. why would you use such a played out song.. come on. I almost simply turned the video off because that came on initially.

dont plan on getting it for pc. a total of 1000 people will probably be playing it when its out.
