Black Ops II Nuketown Zombies hits PS3, PC this week

Undead-themed map for latest Call of Duty coming to new platforms Thursday, January 17.

The Nuketown Zombies map for Call of Duty: Black Ops II will launch for PC and PlayStation 3 Season Pass holders January 17, according to a tweet from the official Call of Duty account.

The map launched for the Xbox 360 in December for $50 Season Pass owners. It will be made available as a separate purchase at a later date.

The first official expansion for Black Ops II is called Revolution and will launch first for Xbox 360 gamers on January 29. It is the first of four expansions for the shooter, which has generated over $1 billion from retail sales alone and was the top-selling title of 2012 in the United States.

Wow, Call of Duty and zombies. The two most tired and recycled brands in the gaming industry together in one package.
