Lost in Nightmares could use a save feature. Speaking of which, I much prefer the typewriter method over autosave.

RE5: Gold is simply put awesome! :) I've been playing Lost in Nightmares for some time now, and I can't wait for the next DLC pack... Capcom's return to former glory, and their intentions for a RE reboot are already noticeable in the L.I.N. DLC :)

@coldsauce09 Last I checked RE5 was a survival action game with zombies. That doesn't relate to anything detective in my book.

Nice to see that Heavy Rain is garnering attention on Japan.

if the PSarc was to come out this march i know that a lot of people will be picking up RE5 the gold edition and the PSarc remote. but to bad they moved it back.

japanese loves detective games and solving puzzles thats why heavy rain was on the list.

Sounds like its going to be a good year for the PSP, considering all the ones that are being sold in japan. And all the great games that are comin to it. Cant wait to get my hands on a psp this summer!

RE5 content is a ripoff but I come to expect that from Capcom, that little content for that much money!? No thanks but I won't mind renting it thanks.

They should re-release the resident evil 1 remake and zero on XBLA and PSN they would make a killing at the right price, even if it was the original versions I would still buy them maybe some sort of bad ass resident evil collection 0-3 plus Code Veronica .

Why does the PSP top the sales? Rather strange. The thing that.. 3 DS versions.. Nintendo, what's gone into you? First, you lie us the New Super Mario Bros is a SUPER MARIO BROS remake, while it clearly feels like a Super Mario World remake, next, you pull out new DS edition each year, and not to mention the DS successor rumors out now. Makes me wonder what's up with you. (Got carried over, but too lazy to backspace this) As for Capcom - nothing new, Capcom is already a great company. No surprise here whatsoever.

Actually, now that I think about it, the phrase 'generic first person shooter' has become redundant...

I'll agree that there are too many generic first person shooters in the West but Mass Effect 2 isn't a first person shooter. There's shooting in it, but it isn't in first person and if it's anything like the first game it's got some RPG elements to it too...

Alot of people over there must of bought re5 and the gold edition seems a bit pointless seeing as you cant even use the motion controls on it for about 6 months. @Dark Metal sonic seems like you think every game made in the west is an FPS, i didn't realise mass effect 2 could be played first person.

the japanese only support thier oun console like how the american only support xbox(FPS only). Japanese: RPG, making original games for westren(capcom), they are not afraid to make new type of games. American: FPS, FPS, gore, copying other games if its successful(Dante's Inferno), wow another FPS(Mass Effect 2), like killing in real life (Modern Warfare 2)

Poor PSP Go! I do want one on top of my regular PSP but I just feel that Sony will end up releasing another one a few months down the line and I'll just end up annoyed.

Sony is doing good these days. I'm happy and really surprised to see Heavy Rain in the list. Most Japanese gamers dislike western games. Anyway, two great Sony products on the top. :)

It is a country with gamers who have went from progressive to predictable.. maybe it doesn't matter what system a particular game is on "as long" it is on an eastern platform. They have become more narrow than ever.. same systems, same genres.. they'll buy 4 different versions of the DS before they buy one XBOX360. They'll play 5 Resident Evils and 2 versions of the SAME Resident Evil before buying a Heavy Rain. True hardcore? No.. more like brainwashed and complacent.
