BF2 invaded by Euro Force

I think EA sucks big time. I am tiring of theM BEING MORONS SO ON and their software programers. I think they should fire them all and hire new ones VERY SOOOOOOON. When Battlefield 2 came out I was excited and noW it is a joke. When you play the game online the way they have the punsh system AND THE WAY THE PATCHES CHANGE THE POINT SYSTEM they can kiss my but. I am tired of spending money on EA games and they don't install right nor do they work RIGHT. I think WE ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL SHOULD BOYGOT BUYING ANYTHING FROM EEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAA PERIOD, FOR A YEAR AND THEN WE WILL SEE IF THEY WILL START WITH THERE BRAINS TO ENGAGE WITH LOGICAL THINKING OF HOW TO PROGRAM. I AM VERY TICKED OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

OH hurray! EA attempts to apply the MMO scheme to FPS! They should put in stationary bots to help us 'grind'. They're just jealous. Someone give em a cookie or something to curb that greedy streak.

Do i need special forces to get the euro forces? If so it really sucks.. if not then its really good..

I downloaded it without any issues, and am playing it without any issues. I will try and answer questions with my comment: Install 1.21 patch after you install EF, this helped me with alot of issues. Don't use IE7 BETA with EA Downloader, it is not supported and causes "core" problems with the EA Downloader (think javascript incompatibility within the software and IE's OS integration). It's not buggy as some might think. You cannot unlock any of the weapons within BF2 original, this is not like Special Forces. If you don't have EF installed and a server is running the map in the rotation, once you get to that map you will be told that you cannot connect to the server because you need EF installed. When setting up the information for EF in your EA Downloader, the "Gamespy nickname" is the account in which you use to play BF2 (if your BF2 name is Isuck@BF2 then your "gamespy nick" is also Isuck@BF2). I hoped that cleared up some questions. If anyone has trouble with it, feel free to send me a private message. PEACE

my downloader gave me improper IP error. EA support suggested uninstalling the downloader and reinstalling.. now it says I have to redownload special forces (after buying it again) before I can get the booster pack. I cleared 5 gigs if HD space uninstalling the whole mess.. EA and Dice can bite me....

why the hell cant ps2 get another battlefield this sucks

I"M NOT PAYING FOR PATCHES!!! That's pure EA style! Release something, and stop supporting it.

Is there more than one game mode at least?

its not actually a expansion, there are no new guns to unlock... its more like a map pack that just add's 3 new maps (which are awesome) and the european union (this is where the guns are) they are standard for the EuroForce faction..

SO AGREED WITH ALL OF YOU except the "I am downloading it now" crowd. I have the same exact opinion. The SF expansion was not worth 30$ that should have been worth 10$ becuase all the new weapons are like 6 of them for the British and a few new maps. In the video before release they said it would be focused on foot action with soldiers having the ability to survive not in a vehicle DEAD WRONG. Also the zipline is used for the sniper which should have the grappling hook only a few classes can use the special items. Getting back to Euroforce this is content that should have been in the SF package, than that would seem more complete, but it wasn't. Its really obvious becuase at peak hours there are 1,000 BF2 servers and only 100 SF servers booster pack I have no idea maybe 10? This is almost sounding like monthly fees :(

Eff this. Ill play the free mods that do what this garbage is tryin to get us to pay for. But what i really want is an update of the balanced vietnam maps and my huey gunship back!!!

Friggin ay. I keep waiting for the re-release of this game so i can get BF2 & special forces for like 40 bucks. By then ill be the only one playing this game.

I love the game, but honestly, this is getting ridiculous. EAs just milking us BF fans out of more or our money for content that SHOULD have been included in the original (kind of like what they're doing with the Sims 2), and just after spending hours to unlock all the weapons in the previous "expansion", you get another one thrown on you where you have to spend yet another 100 hours to get all the new weapons, ribbons, medals, and badges. I bought SF, but hardly ever play it, so I'll put this purchase on hold for now.

because EA is going to have a new " booster pack " ever 2 months or so. just a cheap way to make more money, just like they do with the sims

why do they call it booster pack? it sounds like some kind of card game.

Can someone clarify this for me - After purchasing and installing Euro Force, do you have to use your unlocks to get the new weapons? Why should I have to spend another 100+ hours to get the good weapons when I already spent that amount of time unlocking the original BF2 weapons which I thought were so sweet at the time - now I'm getting perpetually owned by FL2000 grenade launchers wielded by children who have nothing but money and free time to earn unlocks. I bought SF over EA downloader and spent 2 weeks trying to get it to download and install properly...to no avail and endless errors. I finally gave up after reading that SF is a joke anyway. EA had over a year to ape Steam and still mucked it up. So I guess in summary - Lick my pouch, EA. You will pay for your greed and arrogance with your customer's dollars.

This is bad. Really BAD. This is the content that should have been in the original game package, IMO they just want more money. This shouldn't be happening. The games have less content and they make you pay more for more. Armageddon has kome... . Imagine a fighting game with only 4 fighters and the others are downloadable.

Sadly there are a lot of people having EA Downloader problems. Myself included. What happens is that you install the Downloader but once it appears to be done installing, it refuses to run. Great job, EA, as usual.
