Bethesda launches $299 Skyrim Dragonborn statue

for $300 buck I think it should have more exchangeable options to equip with items, like Apparel, swords, boots, shields, mage robes, ale...etc. Also a pull string that has different things Dragonborn might say, like Fus Ro Dah, arrow in the knee, what is a thane and Lydia I love you. In addition, statue of Barbas should accompany it as well.  Where would I be without Barbas? Even if I do have to cart around that stupid Ax to keep him around. I just can't ever use it or Barbas jumps in front of it and gets killed every night mother loving time.

I maybe would have bought this if:

-Had decent articulation

-Could make it match your in-game Dovahkiin, including armor and weapons

-Had battery powered Fus Roh Dah action

They would have been better making a statue of Alduin, rather than a representation of the Dragonborn that most players would never use - since, you know, you can essentially create your own character and choose from 10 different races.

If I was to have a Dragonborn statue, I'd want it to look like MY Dragonborn, not theirs!

Bethesda should sold this statue to the game museum. 

300 bucks for a statue not made out of valuable materials almost makes me sick to my stomach. Oh, wait that's probably the alcohol, oops. Good, I mean bad move Bethesda.

Gamespot did a video regarding these figurines and collectibles, are they worth the money people pay for them? Can they be considered art when they are made of cheap plastic?

Any1 have the replica Frostmourne they want to sell me at close to it's original price ?

As for people making comments about getting a life or a girlfriend if the people in your life don't enjoy what you like what is the point of them being involved in it ?  A person should be allowed to decorate their home as they see fit and if a $300 plastic figure makes them happy so be it.  Now would I pay $300 for this well no but you know what women all the time get men to buy them Royal Doulton figurines and more for big money too so how is this different ? 

Uh and people here failed to mention only 500 are being made worldwide so that makes the investment worth it as a gaming collectible.

Where's the part where this thing gets you a girlfriend or a life? Seriously, this is a piece of worthless shit. Why on earth would anyone spend 300 dollars on this?

My dragonborn is a Dunmer with a mohawk and a white skull painted onto his face, so this is like paying 300 bucks for a statue of a random bandit that we kill in Skyrim.

Um, no. That's not THE Dragonborn, what are you talking about? My Dragonborns are a Bosmer and a Breton, both of them with heavily modded facial features and hair, and female. (I'm kidding. It looks cool. Not sure about $300 dollars for one figure, though)

I feel like this news must have some deeper significance... But I haven't figured it out yet. In the meantime, is a GOTY or Ultimate Edition coming?
