Battlefield 3 on sale on Origin for $5
Battlefield 3 has been revealed as the Origin mystery deal game; the offer will be listed for 12 hours.
Electronic Arts has announced the featured title in its upcoming Origin mystery deal. First-person shooter Battlefield 3 will be available on digital distribution platform Origin in Australia for $5 from midday till midnight on Friday, April 19.
Players who wish to take advantage of the price must purchase the game via the Battlefield 3 page on Origin during the 12-hour sale.
Battlefield 3 was recently included as part of the free game redemption program that EA rolled out as an apology for the SimCity launch disaster.
The first-person shooter was positively received in GameSpot’s review, praised for its detailed environments and varied multiplayer. EA has since released five additional DLC add-ons for the game: Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game.
