@wackedwilly I'm sorry, I tend to assume most people understand sarcasm. As @jimmyjimjim pointed out, I was mocking you for even attempting to compare real life to a videogame in the first place. By saying I hid behind a truck and the "red stuff" disappeared I was merely pointing out that THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE, just like everything else in a videogame. Just like I said CoD was spot on FOR BALANCING. Obviously I didn't get shot 13 times in Iraq, I myself never got shot at all. I think it would be best if you avoided responding in the future as every time you do, you prove further and further just how stupid you really are. This could have been a nice discussion, I simply wanted to point out that your "15 Bullet" number was exaggerated. Now I've pointed out that you lack any and all common sense.

I'm also pretty sure you've been playing too much battlefield they put blood on your screen just to indicate that you've been shot because you can't actually feel the bullets hitting you. I'm pretty sure blood comes out of your arm when you get shot in the arm not your eyes. Sorry got off topic there anyway than you said "No game that wants to claim to even slightly be realistic would use more than 3-5 Rounds as the general kill count." Just to be clear, my comment below is in regards to a specific conversation with WackedWilly. Personally, I think CoD is pretty spot on with damage, as it is a VIDEO GAME and balancing takes priority over realism. Yes most of the guns are underpowered when compared to their real world counter parts but it wouldnt be much fun otherwise.

@wackedwilly I know I'm feeding the troll here, but as a matter of principal, I must say: In no way are we, nor will we ever be on the same page. It doesn't take anywhere near 15 bullets to kill someone, 1 will do the job just fine. Let me tell you a little something about getting shot you apparently don't understand. IT HURTS. You don't keep running, you don't keep aiming, you don't do anything other than address your new injury. And while your doing that you get shot a whole lot more. Even round that strikes body armor will cause bruising and even broken bones, hell I once saw a guy practically thrown to the ground by the force of a 7.62 round thwaking his plates.. The armor we in the military wear is only rated to stop 1 or 2 rounds, after that it just shatters and creates MORE SHRAPNEL for the bullets to bring with them as they pierce your flesh. No game that wants to claim to even slightly be realistic would use more than 3-5 Rounds as the general kill count. (I'm talking body shots, obviously Head is less, Extremities more). Everyone is different, and yes SOME people could keep fighting as if they are unaffected after a bullet or two. But MOST humans aren't going to be doing a damn thing after even a single one tears through any part of their flesh.

yes..may be am from the people who even didnt play COD:BO cuz i saw it at utube and found it very much like MW2 so i didnt buy it, and yes am from the people who loved BC2 and even MOH more than MW2 and BO..at the same time i dont hate them all..but the point is as long as EA and Activison are in a competition level as long as both of them will make better games at the end for us as for example BF3, EA made this game to be as they said "COD killer"..so if there is no COD, do u expect from EA to make BF3 ?, and in return COD of course will try its best with MW3 to at least compete BF3..so it not good 4 us to make one of them especially Activison "COD" to stop making COD again..am not attacking the ppl who hates COD but its only an opinion as at the end we are the players are the winners from this "COD & BF, MOH" competition.

This game is going to be EPIC, with dice's engine and their never failing Battlefield games...this ones going to be the game to play no doubt.

now been looking forward to a game this much since call of duty 2 on the pc after sending my early teen life on cod1 . this i think will slay call of duty if it plays as good as it looks :) too bad its ages off C:

@oKiRe I agree, this will be a kickass game but most Call of duty games sell well because the majority of the people who buy it will buy anything with the CoD name on it... i know people who will actually only buy Call of duty titles... but i don't care really its their loss What i do hate is how EA claim this is the CoD killer, its ridiculous... they even said it was just built to take it down... which sounds stupid because it wasn't, its built because DICE knew it was wanted badly by everyone who plays battlefield games, and they were finally ready to make it

@JimmyJimJim Sorry to tell ya, kid your Call of Duty isn't realistic, in fact its very far from realistic. You don't take two bullets from an SMG an instantly die, wounded? somewhat, but no where near being dead. (unless you took some bullets before)

Just so you know bullets from automatic weapons, you can take about 15 on average before your dead. My main point was that its unfair that you can take so much damage and at the same time your being wrecked on all sides. I perfer if games try to be balanced not Realistic. Ever beat W@W on veteran? Try to and then you'll understand

I will try the beta first, and then buy it... I just cannot risk in these days... :) look at MW2, it was represented in very very good way, but thanks god i didn't buy it... :)

No doubt MW3 will outsell this. However this game will be alot better. I'm just not looking forward to the EA dlc weapon and map packs, day one.

@360hammer you do realize Battlefield 2 is a different game then Battlefield bad company...I really don't see how referring BFBC2 had anything to do with my argument vs BF3. The earthquake in the trailer looked and sounded VERY realistic! I would know too, Ive experienced and earthquake!! Also I cant wait I might buy this game

@icecoldkilla78 I agree as much as W@W's story mode pisses me off and the shotgun campers in MW2 and the fact you die if you take two bullets in every cod game you still can't say cod's down right terrible. I think of it as cod being an arcade shooter and BF being a tactical shooter. Although now I'm getting sick of every shooter copying everything from cod putting it into a game with a different name and saying its new. The only thing that's down right terrible about cod is W@W's veteran story mode the Japanese and Germans apparently got a wholesale on grenades before ww2.

faultline was one the best trailers i've seen in ages. what is with all this COD hate? just let people play whatever they enjoy. personally, i prefer Battlefield games...COD is too nonsensical and in your face all the time. except COD2 and 4, i liked those.
