Batman: Arkham City DLC due Dec. 20

New playable characters I'd love to see: -Joker (like Arkham Asylum) -Azrael -Batwoman -Ace the Bathound! =p

Not interested.. don't they got anything else besides challenge maps.? Its just a bunch of beat him up in a mode that I rarely play and it gets boring pretty quick.. and I hardly played it at all in the first game Arkham Asylum and having 1 batcave area to beat up enemies is not worth 7$

Do gamers who purchased the Collector's Edition get a discount off the Batcave Content Pack DLC, since they're only getting the Batcave?

@RE4GreatesGame I only have a pc, so I guess I won't be playing Dark Souls anytime soon.

@RE4GreatesGame Yeah agree with the buggy part about Skyrim, but it's just that regardless of the bugs it's a fantastic game and still a contender for me. I don't particularly enjoy platformers, so I couldn't say about Rayman and I'll take a look at Dark Souls now. Thanks!

Fantastic DLC that feels like an addition,not what should be in the game..fantastic combat that doesn't use a single gun,a variety of combat and puzzle solving...Arkham City is everything good that Modern Warfare 3 isn't.

There any way to buy the maps individually? I've got Joker's Carnival but I'd like the other two

Batman is not about Challenge Maps. Enough already. I prefer new story missions that allow me to play as Nightwing, Robin or Batman and adopt a different approach from using each character

You guys have hit it bang on the mark: we keep coming back to this game for its great single player. we don't need (or want) more freaking maps. Also anyone else thinks that the Adam West batman would make a great download skin for bats? xD

a serious rip-off to those who bought collector edition coz they are releasing iceberg lounge to soon and if the collector edition exclusive is strapped for free along with another dlc these developers copied the idea of getting a online pass from EA so they should also get that idea from them that no matter what collector edition dlc should be exclusive to collector edition and not to be made available to those who havent spent that much money on these freakin collector editions and im talking about DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS collector edition.. its collector edition items have never made it to stores and seriously to all those collectors out there arent u fellin being ripped off

Thank you for making it that much easier to save my money. As if it's not bad enough I could care less about doing more of the challenge maps, I think 500 some Microsoft Points is quite excessive for a character you can't even take around arkham city.

I would prefer to see them working on a DX11 patch since from what I've read, the game is nearly unplayable when using it.

This game has lost it's replay value. Time to trade it in.

Gimme some new single player campaigns and I'll buy them first day

@SunSpot Oh, because for me it runs fine except for occasional stuttering in the main area which I guess is mainly due to loading.

NO MORE CHALLENGE MAPS!!!!! They're just reselling all the exclusive pre-order content, not making new stuff. They're not worth paying for. After you finish the main game, they add a bit of replayability because you don't wanna stop playing. But they aren't that great to have to pay extra for. I bought Nightwing and Robin, hoping they'd be more than what they were, and already have Jokers Carnival from Gamestop (not the collectors edition btw) and will stop there as far as these maps go. Like someone else said... there's plenty to do with the single player story. Alot of the side missions said "saved to bat computer" when you finished them because the enemy was still at large. Heck... I'd even take some extra Catwoman missions at this point.

i have been playing arkham city and its pretty good.. i agree with HaloPimp, if its more challenge maps I dont really see the point in getting it So far I just want to see the price and that will settle it.

Ok forget the DLC how about patching the DX 11 support for the PC first!

Why is everyone hating on this DLC? What's the big deal? No one's making you buy it.

Batman common, go hunt some bad guys and that doesn't include 'THUGS', I'm talking about someone like Black Mask or something that at least has a murder degree license :lol:

still annoyed I can only play this game on medium settings on PC - anything higher and it crashes after 5 mins. still crashes eventually anyway. Joke

Some of the DLCs mentioned are already being enjoyed by certain digital sea-farers.

Haha, they needed money so bad they blocked content with a $10 pass, but they sure got money to put out three DLC packs in a little over a month after the game's release don't they?

So whens any of these DLCs coming to the PC???

Ok, it was kinda cool to play as Robin and Nightwing in some challenge maps, but honestly more challenge maps are not really needed. Rocksteady has plenty of room to flesh out the story! Why was Robin on a train, in his challenge map? Why was the Black Mask there? Whats the story of Black Mask's hideout? Nightwing in Wayne Manor???? Etc etc ect..... Not to mention the countless tales they could tack on about Bats himself!!!! Interested in how they create the Batcave to fit there style, but not gonna buy it if it's just a backdrop to do the same beat 'em up action I've done with four other characters by now. Unless they have Alfred roll up his sleeves and whoop ass to defend the Batcave will I even stay remotely interested.

I've been on the fence with this game. I'm glad I haven't bought it though as I think I'll get a 'ultimate' edition (or whatever they call it these days that actually packs the game together as a whole) when it comes out instead. And if it never does I'll just skip the game entirely.

I'm tired of challenge maps, it's a lame attempt to make the game last longer. They should have made robin and nightwing playable in story mode with their own stories. How hard could it be to just expand the map and story.

If the would have just put the DLC in the game in the first place, I'd STILL BE PLAYING IT.

Got AC for 30 bucks on black friday and I havn't played anything since. This and Dark Souls are my two top noms for GOTY. They need to be releasing more stories though not maps. There's so much more they can do with Arkham.

not to give the story away, but how it just ended and batman walking away after you finished the story mode, if you seen my comment 14 comments below this one, the gray area could be a added dlc to expand the story and whatever else they want to add, not that i hate the game, i like it, but it ended with a cliff hanger of batman walking away like he needs too get something or do something else etc... AA ended fine not much of a cliff hanger, I guess if they added more story into this game it would be a $50.00 or $60.00 dlc.

More boring challenge maps?? What about some mission packs or at the very least some single player skins for Batman.... and based on the price of the previous DLC for these games, i'll rather buy a budget used game from eBay.

@sknight175216 Yeah,there is some good SP DLC around,like New Vegas packs,I guess,but if they're planning to release some "bonus missions" rip-off for Batman,I say DON'T.They suck! And sad thing is,lately most companies do make them,and even better,often they're cut out from the game itself(AC2 "lost" chapters)

Enoug with the challenge maps! There's plenty on disc and Ice Berg Lounge and Jokers Carnival just add too it. Unless its a new side mission or even a story for Robin/Nightwing I'm not buying it.

@Rocker6 Yeah I agree with you on the DLC thing. I just know it's something we can't change, so I'd rather companies at least develop story oriented content rather than rehashing the same thing over and over.

@sknight175216 What I really wanted to say is how I dislike DLC,and want my SP campaings be fully made right out of the box.I hate "bonus missions" DLC,as I said,only SP add-on I can accept is a full expansion pack,like those we had some years ago... Adn Im otn drukn!!! Oh,wait...

@Rocker6 You're drunk ha ha. Nobody wants more challenge maps. They're basically the same exact thing in different locations.

They should include a story mission with black mask. we have enough challenge maps.
