Batman's gotta be the best super hero of all. He's a regular guy who takes on super-powered villains on a nightly basis. If Superman knocks Lex out,big whoop. Batman: Arkham City $100 edition detailed
Premium bundle packs in Dark Knight statue, art book, Batman: Gotham Knight, soundtrack, and early access to challenge map and Dark Knight Returns skin.
Last week, electronics retailer Best Buy let loose word that a $100 collector's edition for Rocksteady's upcoming Dark Knight game Batman: Arkham City was on the way. At the time, little was known about the contents of the pack, but today, publisher Warner Bros. made the bundle official and detailed its various pack-ins.
Inside the $100 Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition (pictured at right) are a range of Caped Crusader-related items. These include a Batman statue created by model kit manufacturer Kotobukiya, an art book, a soundtrack (redeemable via digital download), four collectible cards, and a copy of the DC Universe animated movie Batman: Gotham Knight.
Also included in the bundle is early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge map and the Dark Knight Returns in-game skin.
Batman: Arkham City Collector's Edition will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC when the game arrives on October 18. For more on the new Dark Knight title, check out GameSpot's latest hands-on preview with Batman: Arkham City.
