@ Vimanesba Well... Now who is right? Your opinion or Billboard's? We don't care if you don't like the list... All those artists you mentioned are very popular and working hard to make good music especially Evanescence(for me)... Okay you don't like them, but it doesn?t mean that Activision has a bad taste of music... If that exists, the same goes with you! Everyone have their musical style! deal with it...
Band Hero full setlist revealed
Activision takes the lid off of family-friendly rhythm game's console, DS Lite soundtracks; 61 tracks importable to Guitar Hero 5.
Activision's rhythm game barrage is set to continue on November 3 with the release of Band Hero on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, and DS. Designed with casual, family-friendly play in mind, Band Hero works much the same as Activision's well-received, though commercially underperforming, Guitar Hero 5, letting up to four singers, guitarists, bassists, or drummers jam along to a mix of classic and contemporary pop tunes.
Today, Activision announced the specific bands and tracks that will be included in Band Hero's 65-song console soundtrack and 30-track DS Lite setlist. (The game's tiny drum set will not work with the DSi or original DS.) Having previously announced country music star Taylor Swift as the headline act in the console installment, Activision said that gamers can also expect to see the likes of 3 Doors Down and Angels & Airwaves. Likewise, DS Lite gamers can also expect to see the Black Eyed Peas and Duran Duran.
Those who pick up the console editions of Band Hero and Guitar Hero 5 can also expect a measure of interoperability. Activision said today that 69 of the tracks introduced in Guitar Hero 5 can be imported into the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii versions of Band Hero for $5.99 (MSP480, 600 Wii points). Likewise, Guitar Hero 5 gamers can import 61 of Band Hero's tracks upon the game's launch next month for $4.99 (MSP420, 500 Wii points).
Band Hero's full track lineup for the console and DS Lite editions of the game is listed below. A full list of forward-compatible tracks is available through the official Guitar Hero Web site.
