B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th Gold
Wayward Software reports that the bomber simulation is complete.
Wayward Software has announced that its upcoming bomber simulation B-17 Flying Fortress 2: The Mighty 8th has gone gold, and the European version will arrive in stores later this month. According to Hasbro Interactive, the game will be released in the US in early 2001.
The game takes place during World War II aboard the legendary B-17 bomber in the skies over Europe. Players assume the role of any one of the ten positions aboard the aircraft, including pilot, navigator, radio operator, gunner, or bombardier. If controlling one bomber isn't enough, players can take command of an entire squadron and jump into the shoes of any of the men involved for a first-hand look at the action.
