Aussie game charts: November 23-29
New Super Mario Bros. Wii continues to reign supreme down under, while Cricket moves up and Mario Kart Wii returns to the top 10.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii has fought off the other big games that have come out in time for the Christmas rush, spending its second week at the top of the overall Australian game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia.
Both Cricket and Wii Sports Resort on the Wii saw a big jump in their rankings during the November 23-29 sales period, moving up into the second and third spots, respectively. It's been a while since Mario Kart Wii was in the Aussie top 10, but it's back in fourth place this week. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues to do well on the PlayStation 3 taking out fifth spot, with the Xbox 360 version a bit further down at number nine. On the lower end of the charts, we've got the ever-persistent Wii Play bundle, which closed the week out at number 10.
