Aussie emulation mash-up March 4
Ubisoft's sleeper hit of 2003 gets its chance at redemption this week on Xbox Live Arcade.
Cult classic Beyond Good & Evil makes its way onto Xbox Live Arcade this week, with the PlayStation 3 version to follow later in the year. Like other HD remixes from Ubisoft, this is pretty much a straight port of the original game with higher-resolution character models and textures, and support for 1080p TV sets. It is worth noting that the music score to the game has been remastered.
On the Aussie PlayStation Network Store front, PixelJunk Shooter 2 leads the pack of new content. The biggest addition to this sequel is the new online multiplayer mode, but familiar players will also notice that new weapons have been added as well. Other games out this week on the PSN Store include StarDrone, the PSP Mini game Wackylands Boss, and a demo for Top Spin 4.
While things looked like they were picking up for Nintendo owners last week, it's back to another quiet week across Mario's three digital distribution services, with just one game arriving--Bomberman Heroes for the Virtual Console.
